Sulfonate is related to but not the same as sulfates. In a sulfonate the sulfur is linked direct to a carbon atom where as a sulfate is linked directly to the carbon chain via an oxygen atom. They do have similar qualities when it comes to propensity of being irritating to the skin but sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate is not a sulfate.

Answer:	FAKE REVIEWS?! Most of the positive reviews are suspiciously from July/Aug of 2018 or other clumped time spots. Does everybody have thinning hair at the same time? It appears as if they hire some folks for a few weeks to write the reviews. It is sad that we have to be so hypersensitive to fake news, and that they do not believe in their product enough to let the real users speak. I don't have a lot of extra $$ but I have pride and my review cannot be bought with a free bottle of anything.

Answer:	I did not notice increase in static, but it does make the hair extremely hard to comb through. I have fine hair, but after each wash I get so many knots, that it is a real mission to comb. I use Pura D'Or conditioner as well, but it does not make any difference.

Answer:	Well I just went through and compared all the ingredients between the golden and blue version. The BIG BIG DIFFERENCE that jumped out at me is this now has Ketoconazole at 0.9% in it. I have been historically using the blue version and using Nizoral Ketoconazole shampoo twice a week (marketed for dandruff at $14 per bottle and available at target) which is typically used as the only ingredient in lots of expensive hair loss shampoos out there! So Pura D' Or has taken my advice!...and have added a very important ingredient to this mix. Also it has added Alma oil, Prunus Africana bark and Cucubita Pepo herbs that the blue bottle does not have.

Answer:	Vinegar Rinse to Whiten Gray Hair Mix one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with one gallon of water. After shampooing your hair, rinse your hair using the vinegar and apple cider mixture. Work it through your hair and rinse well with clean water. Condition with a conditioner that is white and style as usual found this on the internet There’s also one with hydrogen peroxide Mix equal parts of 3% hydrogen peroxide, water and your favorite conditioner in a spray bottle. Spray clean, damp, non-conditioned hair with the mixture. Comb through the hair with a wide-toothed comb or pick. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing. Repeat once a week to prevent buildup. Question:	The shampoo barely lathers at all - is that normal

Although many of us are "used to" our shampoo sudsing up in a huge mess of white lather (from the sodium lauryl and s. lareth sulfate), using shampoo that contains these chemicals is similar to washing your hair and scalp with liquid dishwashing soap! Answer:	Yes, they do, however I have very fine hair. I use the shampoo and conditioner and my hair , after blowing dry, is smooth and has considerably more body. The next day, Iuse only the conditioner. These are the best I’ve used on my hair. Try the shampoo separately. These products are good.
