Answer:	Its like conditioner, you can put it on dry hair (saturate hair completely), I combed it thru, leave on for 5 or 10 minutes and rinse, or after shampoo (leave on few minutes and rinse)

Use it once and from there you can make your decision on how often you'd like to use it. It makes your hair silky and soft and depending on your hair type, the softness may last longer than for others.

Answer:	Yes, it does work on African American hair. This is the first time I've used it for my dry, damaged, over-processed hair. My hair is thick and coarse and after the first application, feels and looks soft and healthy!
