Answer:	I do not know if this has a V9000 motor, as I am not that technical. I however, can confirm that this machine is a great improvement on what I had before. My cutting time is redused by half of what it was before.

Answer:	I had the same thing happen. Mine are 15 months old, and I've oiled them after (nearly) every use. They just started making a bad buzzing sound, and now they won't cut at all. I think it is the plastic piece that holds the moving blade, as you describe... I will try one more, but if it breaks I may invest in a $120 true professional clipper...

Answer:	Lowest - almost bald. It comes with a 1/2 blade which is a very short crew cut. Other blades go from 1 up to 8. 8 leaves the hair pretty long - if you want to keep it longer on top or in the front to spike it up a bit. This is a great kit - I am not a pro, I use it to cut my sons' hair, ages 10 and 16 - they always look good!
