And on two standard poodles, they're less expensive than a grooming trip for your pups. But these clippers cut through mats like butter. |

| Answer: | That is an old wive's tale and biologically impossible. (If that were true, my younger son could grow a beard). Hair is cut at the same time with a sharp razor. It just all grows in at the same time and the hairs (which are dead cells) haven't started disintegrating yet so they are seem sharp or thick. If you were to let them grow out, they would get soft like the hair on your head because the hair, which again, is a dead cell, begins to disintegrate and becomes dust on your floor. That is why men's beards get soft when they are grown out. |
