However from all the times I used the product( 6 or so years using the just for men autostop color either medium brown and now I switched to a lighter color) I have not had a problem with staining the skin. Of course I am a woman with hair that touches the bottom of neck(pageboy) but I have used it for under the top layers near the scalp and I have never had a problem.Please do a patch test as told in the directions. Please know that I have sensitive skin on my face so this product hasn't bothered me in all the time I have used it. I think this is a wonderful hair color system.

Answer:	The 10 dilutes the 20 to make 15. It does not strengthen it. You could also add 25% water to Full volume to archive same result. E.g. 75ml developer 25ml water.

Answer:	The product can be used to partially or completely color your hair. It needs to be applied on the areas to color. It washes out over a period of 4 to 6 weeks. Important to use conditioner on the hair to extend the length of time the color will stay in your hair. You get a blending of gray as the color washes out. There is no yellowing of the hair. You may get a mild orange tint if the color is not mixed correctly. This will occur at the end of the 4 to 6 week time cycle. I personally use a professional stylist with color mixing experience.

Question:	Do you have to use his daily? How long does the color last when you reach your desired shade
Answer:	Frequency of use depends on your level of gray and how much you want to darken it. Personally, once I reached the color I wanted, I only use it once or twice a week now. I have medium-dark brown hair and probably 70% gray. This stuff works great for me. The color basically is permanent. It will last until you cut off the dyed hair. When you cut your hair, you will expose new roots at the bottom which are white or hair that is lighter in color because they haven't been dyed as many times. I cut my own hair and beard every week. Some weeks I can get away with one application and some weeks it may take a second application to get it back to where I want it.
Question:	does this work for gray stubble like 3-4 days without shaving or will it dye the skin too
Answer:	I've found that the Control GX beard wash works best with a beard length of at least a 1/2" up to maybe 1 1/2". At that length, it has something to cling to and the more fluid shampoo really gets into the beard in a way the 2 part mix and brush-in product can't. But, for stubble the thicker 2 part product with the color gel and developer gel and brush will cling to the short hair much better. The only problem at that point is that average facial hair growth rates are around 1/8" per week. And that new hair is gonna be whatever color you have naturally. If you trim to maintain a certain stubble length, you'll be back to white in a week.
Question:	No matter how i shake, the end of the tube is alway just dark brown (beige out of a new tube). is this going to work the same
Answer:	I've been using Control GX for a couple of years. This product uses a chemical reaction that depends on oxygen to activate the dye. Sealed up in the tube it's a beige color. Once you squeeze it out and apply, it begins to react with the oxygen in the air and darken over the course of 5-10 minutes. You'll even notice a further small amount of color change over the 24 hours after you've rinsed it out and dried your hair as oxygen continues to react with the dye bonded to your hair. The key to minimize the color change in the tube is to minimize the exposure to oxygen while it is stored for weeks while you use it. If you are using it say 4 times per week you may go through a tube in a couple of weeks and that will limit the amount of time it will sit in the tube reacting to oxygen. Personally, I have a medium brown natural hair color. After getting my hair color where I wanted it, I only use Control GX once or twice a week to maintain the look I want. So a tube will last me 4-6 weeks. In that time, it will oxidize and turn partially black. But there is something you can do to minimize that. When you finishing applying and you're waiting for the dye to work, go back and pop open the tube then squeeze it so that the goop inside is just about to come out. Now close the cover and make sure it snaps shut. That will expel 99% of the oxygen from the now partially empty tube and seal it as well as possible. Store it standing up vertically so the stuff inside forms a seal against the top (bottom when stored). If you don't do this, all that space inside the tube that used to be filled with Control GX ends up filled with oxygen and the chemical reaction will take place. With that said, I use it whether or not is is oxidized and it still seems to have an effect even if it is partially oxidized.
Question:	Does this beard gx shampoo work better for brown or black tones of hair
Answer:	It works best with light brown to medium brown hair. You'll need to use it more often and leave it in longer to reach a black color. Also, there's more contrast between your gray or white hair and your black hair than someone with medium brown hair. The Control GX will tone down that contrast a lot even if you don't get it all the way to black. And don't forget that this product isn't meant to produce a uniformly colored head of hair. It's meant to leave some gray to make it look more natural.

STEP 1

Pour the No Ammonia Colorant into the Developing Lotion. With your gloves on, hold your finger on the applicator tip and shake!

STEP 2

Apply mixture all over hair, starting where you see the most grays. If you are applying color to your facial hair, apply color first before shaving! Set the timer for 10 minutes (max 20 mins. for stubborn grays). When time’s up, rinse hair until water runs clear.

STEP 3

Apply a nickel-sized amount of the Color Conditioning Treatment and leave in for 2 minutes. Rinse. Use the remaining conditioning treatment once a week to add shine and manageability.

Question:	Is this reusable, and is it natural or it has all kinds of chemicals
Answer:	The responses here about one-time-use only are not correct. I used about a third of a tube at first, closed it up (the air only gets to what leaves the tube), and put it in the cabinet. About six or eight weeks later, I reapplied another 1/3 tube and it still worked though a little less strong, so a week later I put in the remaining 1/3 and it got me back to the original result. So yes, as long as you squeeze from the bottom and cap the tube right away and flush out the comb, you can get another application out of it.
Question:	can you use on beards
Answer:	No, this product does not dye the scalp, but it does a great job on your hair. Your hair will have a natural look, but your scalp will also. I have been using this product for around 20 years. I am, obviously, a happy camper. btw, The light brown is NOT light, it's brown. If you're actually looking for light brown, don't leave it on for the full 20 minutes, as instructed. But, even if you want darker colored hair, start with the Light Brown, and leave it on for the full 20 min. If you think it's too light, which is hardly even possible, move on to the medium. My only problem is that my hair grows very fast, and my silver roots begin to show after just a week. I'm not trying to fool anybody, so what I do is allow 2-3 weeks between treatments. Even 4 weeks is doable, it depends on your level of vanity lol! btw: Amazon is where you will find the best price for this product, although I've never checked at beauty supply stores, but you have to buy the 3 item package to get the good deal, and even they vary in price. I leave it in for about 10 minutes after shampooing and drying my hear well. What I don't like about it is that it is getting pricier by the days.

Answer:	It's not a shampoo. "Shampoo" is used more as a verb, trying to ease men unfamiliar with hair coloring into not being scared of the process. So you use it once, then do your normal shampooing (with color safe shampoo) on other days. To your main subject: orange. My hair never got orange tints from this. For my hair, this product gave me realistic color that would fade in 2-4 weeks, shorter if I went out in the sun.

5 Minutes to Natural-looking Gray Coverage

Step 1: Preparation:

Put on gloves. Twist off the tip of the Dark & Natural Conditioning Developer applicator cap (#1). Remove the cap from applicator bottle. Pour entire contents of the Dark & Natural Permanent Haircolor Bottle (#2) into the Dark & Natural Conditioning Developer applicator bottle (#1). Replace the applicator cap securely. Place your gloved finger over open tip. Point away from your face and shake thoroughly until mixture is totally blended. Never leave the tip unopened after mixing. The container may burst.

Step 2: Application And Timing:

Evenly squeeze the applicator bottle to apply color mixture on dry hair. Start at temples, hairline or wherever hair is grayest. Work gently through hair as you would a shampoo to ensure good distribution and saturation. Comb through gently if necessary making sure to cover all parts. Use as much mixture as needed to wet hair thoroughly and uniformly. Remember: Do not take more than 3 minutes to complete application! Do not save any unused mixture. The container may burst. Wait 5 Minutes.

Important - Start timing yourself after the application is completed. It only takes 5 minutes.

Wait only 5 minutes. Yes, that’s all it takes! Rinsing your hair immediately after only 5 minutes gives you the right amount of natural-looking color. For darker coverage and blending, leave haircolor on longer. Do not exceed 15 minutes.

Step 3: Rinse and Shampoo:

Answer:	Yes I have used this product on my mustache as well as my beard and it worked equally as good.

Answer:	I'm using a color almost identical to my own, and it seems to last in pretty decent shape for about 4 weeks - about a week longer during the winter months. I wash my hair twice a day due to workouts, so it does take a beating, and because I am at the "age of gray", I can get away quite well with a bit of gray showing through. I think it used to last 5-6 weeks, but not any more. Changes in my hair or the in product, who knows? Also, it really helps with thinning hair by darkening the gray and beefing up the body a bit; although, websites claim it damages the body over the long run. We'll see,
