Answer: Based on authentic bottles I have purchased elsewhere before, I would say the bottle and packaging looks correct but something is off about the scent. It was sealed and it could just be old but it smells stale and powdery. The price was good and the shipping was quick but I won't order from this seller again. Hope this was just a fluke and others have better luck.

Answer: I can't say I could compare this to any perfume I've smelled before... it's really quite lovely. I actually like it more now, than I did when I first got it. The first scent is sort of light, with a bit of spice. The deeper scent, that comes out after the immediate scent, is bergamot(ish).I've never actually described a perfume before- :0Hope this helps!

Answer: I dont know what cologne companies have told you this but it is absolutely false claimsI have been wearing Eau des Mervilles every since it came out & by the way I only wear Hermes perfume s. I originally bought Eau des Mervilles from Neiman's saw it on Amazon for half the price & have purchased it from Amazon every since. Trust me I know the scent . Those perfume companies probably wanted your business at double the price. Also if you weren't pleased with the scent from Anazon you could return the purchase& get a refund. So what would be the point.

Answer: It's exactly the same! I sold fragrants for a major retailer and there is NEVER any certainty about "how long ago" it was produced. Heat and exposure to light can cause perfume to degrade. Just like at a "retail store", it is rare to have a problem. I keep a tray of designer fragrances for guests in my powder room, many are several years old and they are all still good.
