| Answer: | Hello, I never actually looked closely at the charger specs before---but I have just looked and here's what it says. Ac input 100-240 volts output 4.5 vdc. Charger only uses 13w while charging. I don't know about your traveling situation---but this thing holds a charge really long---I charge it 2x a year only because I want to----not much hair !!! 13 watts isn't much -I'm thinking a car lighter charger much like you would use for a phone that has an output of 4.5 vdc . | Answer: | The thing I love about this clipper is that there are two phillips screws holding the two blades together and if you loosen the screws, you can position the blades so that it cuts SUPER short. Without any guards and after adjusting the blades, I can get my hair short enough that people think I bic my head. It really does get extremely close. Another great feature is the charge holding time. I have recently started growing my hair out a bit so just trimming every three weeks. I charged the clipper, stored it for 3 weeks, did a cut, stored it for another 3 weeks and did a second cut. I'm about to do a third cut and even after beig stored for 8 weeks and after two cuts, it's still running at full power. My cuts usually take me 15 mins. My cut length is about 1/32 of an inch. I highly recommend this clipper. |
