Answer: It will last for several hours and will activate with body heat after that. I have worn this for over 26 years. It is a very cool and crisp scent. It s VERY important to note this is eau du toilette. It is NOT cologne. EDT is not meant to have the heavy and overpowering potency of cologne. The rule is EDT should only be noticeable when you get in close. That is probably what is getting people upset. Apply this to your neck and the chest just below your Adam's apple. When you move around the body heat will release the scent when you are close to someone. I recommend getting a small bottle as well and keeping it in your desk or in your briefcase so you can re-apply if you have a long day.

Answer: Mine isn't. The scent normally lasts about 8-10 hours; considerably less if one is doing physical activity outdoors (about 4-6 hours). As usual, I sprayed it on at about 6:30 AM today (PST) before leaving my place. Since I am just in the office all day, the scent still lingers quite well right now at 3:10 PM, or 9-1/2 hours later (I just asked a colleague to validate this before replying here). If I have to go out at night, I would certainly need a "booster" shot (or spray). That's why it's best to order directly from Amazon (the company) itself, and not another retailer/vendor using Amazon.
