Answer:	Remove the stone from its holder. If you look at the stone in the light you will see two dashed lines running down it. You can see them better if it is wet. Use a pointed object, I used the tine of a staple remover, to get underneath at the top of the dashed lines. Then pull the strip down and the rest will come off easily.

Answer:	The plastic is used to protect the device from scratches by the spare rollers and also so the consumer knows the roller is brand new and unused. Answer:	If you order 3rd party (not sold nor shipped by amazon) the seller can take down the review not amazon. Answer:	Just soak your feet and go slow. Its not easy to cut yourself but it is easy to shave off to much at first until you get use to it.

Answer:	No. The packaging says made in China. I will say this, the large file is amazing. You have to be careful with it but it can remove dead skin quickly and is very effective. Honestly I haven’t really use the other files.
