Answer:	Overall, I recommend you try a set of these. I use a variety of brushes for painting historical 15mm, 20mm and 28mm military miniatures including Windsor Newton and Army Painter. I bought this set recently as a 'value' all purpose set of brushes. The 2/0, 3/0 and 5/0 are extra fine for detail work (e.g. collars, buttons, etc) and so far seem to be holding up well. The #1 brush is similar to the Army Painter Standard/Regiment brush. Since I have only been using them for several weeks I cannot say how they will "hold up" in the long run, but for the money I believe them to be a good value as they provide a large range of sizes and uses. One other thing, I paint 'a LOT' but tend to get good mileage out my brushes cleaning them thoroughly during and after painting sessions with "The Masters, Brush Cleaner and Preserver." So depending on how you take care of your brushes may affect how this set 'stands up."

The question is are these brushes made from 100% kolinsky (Mustela sibirica) and not some other species that is also called "Kolinsky" now and then when its marketable to do so and is the fur male kolinsky because when you buy a high-end brush you most certainly are buying one made from male hair. The female hair doesn't have the same properties, and some shady companies will cut corners (no pun intended) by selling brushes made from female fur or only a percentage male. So if the seller can answer that, maybe it might be more telling. "Are these brushes made from kolinsky (Mustela sibirica) specifically, and if so what percentage of the brush is from males?"
