Answer:	I applied one on each foot then showered 24 hours later. The top of the pad where the callus is stayed on but the edges had peeled away. On one foot, the edges had more than peeled away and the disc had also come off, so I decided to take off both pads on both feet and start again.

Question:	I was told that this is the same active ingredient as oven cleaner and isn't really the best to use on skin. Is this true
Answer:	It's funny that you mentioned something other than what it's for!!!...why? Because I bought it for my legs. I live in Arizona... the HOT part of AZ, and the skin on my lower legs, from the knees down, gets scaly and rough. So I bought this product to schmear on said rough parts. I used disposable gloves at first, then realized because I'm not leaving it on long enough to really do any harm that I ditched the gloves. I apply with one hand and then let it sit for about 30 seconds to a minute at the most, for each leg, then scrub with loofah. Voila!!! After a good rinsing....... nice, smoother feel! I have tried it on my arms and hands as well and it does the job very quickly, just to get the skin smoother using a loofah sponge and rinsing thoroughly. If you're using it on beefy, thick, calloused man hands you'll have to do like the pedicure ladies do. Read the instructions (and pretend your hands are you're feet)!

Use common sense. Then there is usually quite a bit left up in the cap area, at least for one or two more applications. I was taught “waste not, want not.” Since shampoo can dry out once cut open, and I can usually get 3 more washes out of it, I keep a zip loc bag on hand for storage.

Answer:	Thanks for asking Lacey. Once in a while, we hear about crystals in the gel - but they are not shards of plastic. Urea in high concentrations may form crystals if exposed to extreme heat or cold, which sometimes happens during shipping. You can just stir the gel up, which should break down any crystals, and it should be fine to use. Otherwise, just contact us directly and we'll make this right for you.

Answer:	Marina, yes you can use nail polish remover to remove the old layer. I usually put the renew on clean nails at night so that my cuticles can get a good treatment. The next day, I put on a coat of the white ridge filler, and a coat of the strengthener. I usually change it 2 to 3 times a week. If I am attending an outing or event, I will put a coat of regular colored polish on over nail kit, but make sure you remove the polish after a day or 2, then start all over again with the process. It's going to take some time for you to see some results however, in due time your nails will look healthy again.
