Question:	How often do you change the wax
Answer:	If you are the only person using the ParaSpa Plus, the wax can be re-used. Simply put the wax back into the tub to re-melt. If multiple people are using the unit you should not reuse the wax, you will want to discard the wax when you peel it from your had and add new wax to the ParaSpa. You should never use the ParaSpa with less than 2.5 lbs of wax.

Answer:	Not sure about shoe/foot size, but here are the interior dimensions of the spa: Length 12+3/4" Width 7". I added pics to our review.

Answer:	Yes it large enough for both. I have a size 8 foot and there was plenty of room. About the size of an oval crock pot but not nearly as heavy even with wax.
Question:	Where does the rack go, under the wax I am guessing? Also can you roll the wax off your clean hands back into the spa or is this not recommended
Answer:	Put in 2 to 3 lbs of wax. When liquid is 62.then float the rack to the bottom and leave it there. Also always wash you hands with soap and dry them . Have ready your plastic bag and a clean old dry wash clboth. Dip each hand 6 times slowly in the was to that the layers on. Then immediately out your hand into a plastic bag and wrap it around the hand. After the was has completely cooled..about 1/2 hour..roll the bag with the was off your hand and throw away. Never put used was back in the machine. Never contaminate the wax. You will not save money by infecting your hand if you keep reusing wax..especially if the hand or foot is not washed with soap and dried first...Hope this helps. I have been doing this beneficial treatment for 4 years.

Answer:	These are pH adjusted yes. I believe this one has a 2.5 pH.

Answer:	I go all around my eyes with it - not sure if you're suppose to but I have the same issues - tried it under my eyes and crows feet area and didn't have any problems so now also put on my lids. I love that it's a thin gel because I dont' have to worry about it running into my eyes. Just an aside - I tried a stonger Glycolic Acid peel and it was a mistake - it was a liquid and not a gel which I didn't realize, but also way too strong. I'm going to stick with this product.

A paraffin wax spa takes advantage of paraffin's heat-retaining capacity in a simple process called heat transfer. In technical terms, heat is transferred to the core of the affected area as paraffin goes through a phase change. As it melts, the paraffin becomes a liquid and is able to retain more heat. Then, when a hand,foot, or other area is dipped into the heated bath, the phase of the paraffin that surrounds the dipped area quickly changes into a solid. The heat that is given off is called the heat of fusion.

2 Setting Modes – Quick heating & Self-adjusted heating

How to set the Quick heating Mode （Power Saving Mode）?

1 Plug the machine and the screen will show OFF;

2 Press ON/OFF button for 2 seconds, and the display window will show “A-U”;

3 In the quick heating mode, wax is melted automatically, and the “+” and “-” are not available;

4 Wax is heated at 90℃ in the first 42 min and at 55℃ in the remaining period.

5 It takes 80 min in the quick heating mode.

 

How to set the Self-adjusted heating Mode?

1 Plug the machine and the screen will show OFF;

2 Press on/off button and then press"+/-" button to set your desired temperature; then it will start tomelt (Temperature range is 45℃ -75℃，The melting point of paraffin wax is about 60℃)

 

ATTENTION

Please don't add water inside the machine or use water to clean it which will damage it.

Please apply a thin layer of wax before useto test if the suitable temperature.

If you feel that the wax temperature is hot, please wait more 10-15 minutes before dipping.

Answer:	BIG! each bag is large enough to fit your hands or your feet however big they might be.
Question:	Can the wax be re-used after cooled
Answer:	The Therabath model TB6 requires a minimum of 6lbs of paraffin in the unit but can hold up to 9lbs. Previous TB5 models hold 6lbs. 1 and 3 are incorrect as this is not enough paraffin for the bath as it is designed to melt at minimum 6lbs of paraffin. The wax is in bead form but can meld together when shipped in hot locations but this does not affect the wax. Please call Therabath's customer service at 800-321-6387 for any questions.

Maintenance

• The paraffin wax can be used three to five times. To clean the wax pot, slightly heat the solid wax mass and pour it out once it is loosened, then use a paper towel or a clean, dry cloth to wipe the inside of the wax pot to remove any leftover residue.
• Please do not use industrial solvent or frosted product to undertake cleanness.

Undertake a Paraffin Wax Treatment

• #1: Place the machine on a flat surface and lift up the lid
• #2: Put the paraffin wax into the machine and put the lid back on
• #3: Connect the machine into the power
• #4: Set the temperature to either 140F or 167F depending on the wax melting speed, and let the wax melt completely
• #5: After the wax has melted, turn off the machine and put the heat insulating grid into the machine.
• #6: Check for suitable temperature before using the wax with the thermometer

• #7: Clean your skin completely before the treatment
• #8: Use the brush/silicone spatula to spread an even layer of wax onto your hands/the area you’re going to wax and wait for the wax to dry
• #9: After the wax has dried, slowly dip your hands into the melted wax, with your fingers outstretched
• #10: Leave your hands in for 20-30 seconds

• #11: Relate steps 9 and 10 at least 4-5 times until it forms a thick layer on your skin
• #12: To help achieve a better effect, wrap your hands with the glove liner and put on a pair of heat-preservation cotton gloves
• #13: After 10-20 minutes, take off the gloves and get rid of the liner
• #14: Remove the hardened wax from your hands
