It fits 15-18 inch dolls only and although it is designed very similarly to the mommy size one for a real baby it is not authorized or safe for living babies, it is only designed for toys. As for the weight limit of the child WEARING the doll carrier, we have one and my daughter began using at at her 3rd birthday and still wears her dolls in this carrier and has just turned 6. If waist measurement is an issue, I would say that it is pretty expandable and that given its straps and buckles a pretty hefty child could still wear this to carry their doll. The Ergo Baby carriers for baby that a mom would wear usually cost $100 or more. Hope this helps! |

The straps can be crossed so that you can wear the carrier on your chest or they can be uncrossed so it can be worn like a backpack. I’m sure with the straps uncrossed like a backpack it would be even bigger. |

Stroller seat includes a three-point harness and can be adjusted to numerous positions so tired dolls can recline, or active doll babies can see their surroundings. Comfortable to push thanks to the rubber grip on the stroller/pram handle. Like-real suspension with fixed wheels rolls smoothly and can handle uneven floors. When it is time to hit the road, the stroller frame easily folds down by releasing the active and passive safety locks. Carrier compacts by releasing the canopy locks and carrier supports to fold everything down. Also makes a handsome display for prized collector dolls. Fabric is 99% Polyester/1% Cotton with 100% polyester fill. Wheels are PP plastic with EVA tread. Frame is made of powder-coated steel. PVC-free synthetic rubber grip on the stroller handle.
