When I first put it on, I put my oldest in it and she fit fine. As long as you wrap it tight, it will hold weight. My newborn is now 3 months old and I use it with her when I go out places where I need my hands free for my other 2 kids. (We love our Amazon, too!) :) The hood can be removed, but for greater ease during normal use, can be just rolled down and placed into the pocket made specifically to keep your carrier looking nice and neat when the hood isn't in use. Answer:	Hi there! The main differences between the Embossed and the LUXE Embossed are the LILLEbaby badge on the front and the color of the microfiber lining. The Embossed carriers have a fabric LILLEbaby badge and cream lining. The LUXE Embossed carriers have a gold or silver-look metal badge and a lining in a coordinating color. Question:	Upto how-many Lbs can this be used
Answer:	Well, I submitted once but my answer disappeared. Unfortunately, that is the nature of canvas carriers brand new and just out of the box. I didn't find any rubbing, but canvas is typically hard and will soften with wash and wear. I found my lillebaby to be softer than my original ergo when it was brand new. I would suggest washing and drying with dryer balls to "break in" the canvas. Or you could buy a gently used lillebaby from a buy/sell/trade site. Or you could look for a local Babywearing group that has a "breaking in" service (my group offers this service!). Good luck! Lillebaby makes a really great carrier.

Question:	How does a water bottle work when you carry the child on your back
Answer:	I agree with what others said-- I find the mesh to be very uncomfortable for the baby and wish I had seen this in the reviews. It does leave her with red marks on her legs and especially the back of her little neck when I take her out! I was upset by that and I actually think the mesh is uncomfortable enough that it makes it difficult for her to sleep in the carrier. I wouldn't put baby in just a diaper--It's a very rough texture. I am a lillebaby fan and I do like everything else about the carrier, so I'm considering getting the organitouch cotton one to replace this.
