Either way telemarketers have ten or more numbers they use in random sequence, so if you can see the top and low you can block the last two consecutive numbers like 00-10, or 10-19 or maybe 00-99. I often had to relink the devices when I went down to the barn, but then I could listen to be sure everything was fine in the house or use the walkie talkie feature to page my husband for help during late-night treks to check for lambs. I'm not great at judging distances, but our barn is probably 200'-300' away from the house and we were using it in the basement.

Answer:	Yes, we have two units and are using them because we wanted more than 2 parent monitors. You cannot link the two, but we wanted more parent units. Here is what we did. - Put both baby monitors in same room - One set of parent units will "hear" one of the baby monitors - Other set of parent units will "hear" the other baby monitor - Put the 4 parent units in the rooms we wanted them in. All 4 parent units will hear the same thing - Only drawback is that only 2 parent units can talk to each other; the other 2 parent units can talk to each other Works for what we need. Gives us 4 parent units, and we put 2 for daytime use and 2 for night time. The daytime parent units are in different rooms, which we will be in during the day. The 2 for night time are near the bed or TV room. It has been working for us.

Answer:	I would love for the baby unit to be battery operated but contrary to the first reply, it doesn’t have a battery mode to use without having to be plugged in, just the parent unit.

Answer:	The video monitors do no filter the noise coming from the baby’s room. We have a more expensive video monitor and ended up buying this one to replace it because the sound quality on the video monitor was terrible and when it transmitted the noise machine from the nursery it was impossible to sleep through. This monitor only transmits sound above a custom level that you set, so you don’t listen to every little peep from your little one, just the distress calls.

Answer:	A more technical answer - You can set the Mbps of the stream - I choose 1+ Mbps (a bit stingy, but meets my needs. You're better off with 2Mbps for high motion capture) for 1080p recording. So, one second is a Megabit+, one minute is 9 Megabytes and one hour is 540 Megabytes. So, 32GB will allow around 60 hours of recording. If you choose added side-stream recording, JPEG snapshots at certain intervals etc, you can do your own calculation based on this.

No splitter is needed as long as the phone cord is for a 2-Line phone and is plugged into a correctly wired jack that is connected to two phone lines.I use one phone cord that is wired for two phone lines. The the two-line phone cord is connected to the first port on an OBi202 ATA telephone phone adapter that supports phone service for two phone lines.

Answer:	Base unit hands-free speaker works reasonably well with tolerable sound quality. I don't use the base unit hands-free much but it's as least as good as some of the more expensive office-type units I've used. The mobile unit's hands-free works quite well and I use it in this mode often.
