It answers how to operate the voce scamble feature, but not what type it is ... and, I will add to the question .. is the 'scramble' feature adjustable? If not then any other users with the same radio will be able to hear you .. not just your group.

Simply do a search for Luiton FCC - From Luiton's own website: "FCC regulations require all radios operating on business band frequencies 1 watt or more to require a license (LUITON professional two way radios operate at 4-5 Watts). Instructions for obtaining a license are included with each package. It is up to the user to obtain the license. A license is NOT required to purchase a radio and can be done easily after receipt of delivery. FRS or Family radios operating at 1/2 watt or less do not require a license." So YES you DO need a license to operate these radios!! Failure to do so can result in a $10,000 (ten thousand) USD minimal fine from the FCC. You can search for that too. Otherwise, these are great radios.

Question:	We have model mbp36xl can someone tell me how to put the screen in sleep mode
Answer:	Hello, The screen should automatically turn into the sleep mode depending on the timer configuration that you selected (5 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes). This can be set up under Menu, and moving right or left until you see the monitor icon. Then go up to down to select the time. You can "wake up" the monitor whenever you want by pushing any button. Question:	Is there any way to extend the range on this? Some kind of signal booster maybe
Answer:	Hello Anna, No, it won't be compatible with a signal booster. The monitor and camera can reach the range of up to a1000ft when there is a clear line of sight between the units. Any obstruction between parent and baby units will reduce the range significantly. With parent and baby units indoors, the typical range is up to 165 feet. The monitor and camera work together through a radio link and such link might be affected by environmental conditions. Please move the units around the room to try to reestablish the link. Question:	can you control the position of the camera from the video remote? The Motorola I have now, you can only zoom but have to manually position camera
