Answer:	The cord comes out the middle in a small gap and can either direction. This is so you can reverse the fan. So either way you have the fan installed (intake or outtake). The cord can come inside or outside if you wish.

Question:	Can I use these in my apartment where there are already existing permanent blinds (not blackout ones) which I cannot remove
Answer:	The blinds are about 1 1/2 inches in depth. If you have room between the permanent blinds and the window they should fit. The top sticks to the window and unfolds downward as far as you want. They provide a clip to set the height.
Question:	Is it sturdy enough to be taken on and off daily, without ruining the adhesive
Answer:	A simple solution to mounting them daily is to use push pins or thumbtacks. If you cannot push them into wood to hold the blinds at the top of each side then use a tiny hammer or the rubber handles of a pair of pliers. When you leave if you're worried about the holes created by use of pins or tacks just spackle them with wood dough. You might use the same holes to push the pins into.
Question:	what kind of tape to use
Answer:	does the included adhesive tape at the top damage the wall/ceiling when the blind is removed. I only need them for one week.
Question:	How well do these block out the light? I need something that completely blocks the light out. Anyone got a picture of how well these work
Answer:	You can use scotch tape (or any other good tape) and use black trash bags which you likely already have to black out the window for significantly cheaper than these. I used a 30 gal 1.2 mil trash bag on my window which covered the whole thing, and it blocks out about 95% of the light. The drapes then block out the rest creating total black out. If you were to buy the heavy duty "yard trash bags" that are 2 mil or thicker, I guarantee those would blackout a window alone. A 50 gal yard or construction trash bag would cover a huge window. With my drapes (which I never open) you can see the trash bag either so it doesn't look bad. The window its on faces my backyard so nobody will ever see it outside. This window unfortunately faces east so the rising sun beams in my window and I work nights and come home to go to sleep in the morning. This works like a charm!

Answer:	I might not be answering your question, but, the Comfort Zone Reversible Twin Window Fan has three features. 1. It cools; it brings fresh air in. 2. I used it a couple of times this spring and all features work as advertised. I am, however, waiting for our (state of Georgia) extremely hot and humid weather to see if it will cool my bedroom to my liking; but, with this unusual cool weather we've been having, it's taking longer to really tell if my fan will do the main job I purchased it to do. Question:	Can you use the fan without the thermostat feature? I don't want it going on and off all night long
Answer:	I think the other replies were with older models? I just purchased this model and there's no issue with opting out of the thermostat feature. As noted in the instructions, to get to continous air flow, you just keep clicking the button through the modes (first you click throught the various thermostat temperatures, and then you get to "high" or "low" as options. If you click high or low either one will stay on continously. Both options are extremely quiet. It sounds like the person who had a louid nose on the low setting had a defective fan.
Question:	I want to use this in a stand-alone one room dance studio with only one window. If it's very hot outside, will this really keep it cool inside
Answer:	It’s not an AC unit so it will only be as cool (or slightly less hot) as the air from the source. That being said you could use this fan on Exhaust to suck hot air out and use a tower fan to create a breeze in the room. But to cool a room on a 90+ degree day, I’d recommend a window AC. This fan will circulate air tho, so it’s not a bad place to start.
Question:	I need the CFM and decibel (noise) ratings on this fan. These are my two most crucial criteria, but no one shows them
Answer:	This is our second window fan. I don't remember what brand/model etc our first fan was, but the CFM WAS WAY higher than this Holmes fan. My assumption is by lowering the maximum fan speed & thus drastically lower the CFM, they can advertise the fan as being quieter and using less energy. ***We have used this fan for 2 years and we DO NOT recommend it if you are looking for a high CFM (volume) fan***

Answer:	I’ve been using an older version of this fan for about 20, yup, 20 years. I use it in a garage studio. Sometimes it runs for months 24/7. It’s slowing down, tons of dirt and mysterious things on it. While it is exhaling i spray wd30 on it till it speeds up again, lol. I have absolutely punished this fan. But like I said, I run it all year, summer and winter. One side died about 4 years ago, but the other is running as we speak. The reason I saw this is because I was looking to see if they still made it. Yay they do; and it is very quiet. Next paycheck I’m getting a new one. I love the intake exhaust function,brilliant! So happy they’re still available. Can’t go wrong, and not a lot of money.

Question:	The plastic piece that serves as the slider stop on my camper door is broken. Where can I buy a new one
Answer:	I got new one from Amazon - have to kind of wedge it in place. It looks exactly like the one that I had. Pay attention to what way you need it to open so you get the right one.

Question:	is this a universal fit for all RV's
Answer:	No it is not. Not only does the dimension matter but so does the direction. This will only work on a door that swings right to left from inside. My trailer has a rear door that opens right to left from the inside and has one of these on it from the factory. The front of my trailer has a door from the bedroom but opens left to right and did not have one of these on it from the factory and I was wondering why they did that. After ordering this I now know why. Apparently they don't make one for screens that open left to right.

Answer:	They have different sizes so you would have to take measurements and get the appropriate one. The ones I purchased I used on my sliding picture windows so they obviously would be too large for the door.

Answer:	Don't know about a diagram but the screen itself is 24" wide by 26" high edge to edge. The 34" measurement is the tabs that stick out horizontally on all four corners to enable you to mount the screen to your door frame. The tabs are pre-drilled for ease of installation.
Question:	Is this product 100% aluminum? Is any part of this product steel that could rust
Answer:	This product does rust and the grill is 34 3/4" wide, it does not cover 8" of my screen and I have to duct tape the screen so my dogs don't wreck it. With rainy weather the duct tape doesn't stay on all summer, I have to redo the tape to protect my unprotected screen. I was disappointed with this item.

Answer:	For maximum safety, my recommendation is to store propane containers in a weather protected location, such as garage or shed with some natural ventilation. Propane is a highly flammable liquified petroleum gas that vaporizes and expands many-fold very quickly if released to atmospheric pressure, and will form a highly explosive mixture if released in a confined space without outside ventilation. If then ignited by a small spark such as a light switch, the resulting explosion may be catastrophic. There are on-line photos of boats that have exploded from propane leaks in the confined space of a boat cabin with catastrophic results including death of occupants. The cabin top and sides have literally been blown to pieces in such cases. New, sealed bottles of 1 lb size are reasonably safe, but once opened or partly used it is best to store away from occupied spaces. Although the probability is low, the consequences of failure are unacceptable. 20 lb propane containers should never be stored indoors. Answer:	Yes, any size propane tank can be a source for it when plumbed correctly. The simplest way to go is using the F273704 hose directly off most tanks. That hose needs nothing else and goes direct from the tank to the heater. This model heater only accepts high pressure gas thru the "disposable tank" connection, so other hoses with that connection can be used as well as the "filter" F273699. The "filter" is to take out oils coming from most rubbers in hoses where the high pressure "squeezes" the oil out, but the 704 hose is made "oil-free" to avoid that issue. FYI I tried running this off a regulated low pressure source, but with it on "high" the glow was like "low" setting normally (showing a lack of gas coming thru). So if you have a low pressure source, the "Big Buddy" models have a connection point for such thru a quick disconnect using hoses like F271802 or F271803, but not this model (this one needs high pressure gas to get enough thru it's disposable tank port).
Question:	How long with the heater run on low with a propane small cannister
Answer:	Best guess is 4-5 hours on low. I sat in a hunting blind for 2.5 hours and the 1lb propane canister was about half empty.

Answer:	As soon as the weather gets cold, I put my Big Buddy Heater on a stand & use a Mr. Heater 12' hose with regulator running to a 20lb. tank in living room. I use the hose with the low pressure regulator on it & hook it up to the quick connect fitting. I have 2 20lb tanks in mint condition, and rotate them as needed. This will be my 7th winter using it. Old windows & doors let air in and I have a carbon monoxide alarm near by. Also use a leak detector to check all connections after hooking up a full tank. If it's really cold, I'll start it on high for a short time, then run it on medium & it keeps living & dining room warm. Cuts my oil bill down greatly.
