Question:	Should I get a 24in or a 30in for a toy poodle
Answer:	Our toy poodle never even tried to jump this size fence in our yard during his 16 year life. We’ve used a few of them to keep both our 6-7 pound Toy poodle and our 12 pound terrier-poodle rescue out of certain sections of our yard, and even with long fast runs up to these 24” high barriers, neither ever made it over, but I suspect after one or two attempts at standing on their hind legs to lean on these metal contraptions was enough to teach them the fencing is just plain scary. Our mix pup does a hilarious hind leg walk along the edge now without touching the fencing. The nice part for us is the ease of stepping over them without using/needing a gate.
Question:	Can I buy multiple and connect them? I would like to put these around my camper so my dogs can be out in our area without leashes
Answer:	We have 3 sets of the 4 foot tall panels and one set of the 2 foot tall. All 4 connect together easily and we installed eye hooks on the travel trailer frame to attach with zip ties. Question:	The specs says usuable up to 74" and i have a 65" opening, so the answers to these questions are different than what is says. Can someone pls clarify
Answer:	I'm not sure why there are varying answers to this, maybe the product changed? But mine requires two hands, you must push in and twist, then hold while you pull the gate open. To avoid this I twisted the knob and then shoved a thumbtack into the gap at the bottom of the knob, that works just fine for holding the knob in place.
Question:	I want to set this up against part of an existing fence that has slats my Shih Tzu can easily slip through. Will this work
Answer:	First the bottom, in my case -- and after a 'hack-y' fix that lasted another week -- now the top has broken. Doesn't look like a replaceable part -- I've spent a lot of time thinking on how I could "add some hardware" to simulate the missing clips. A shame - because I liked the gate, in concept. Definitely wasn't up to the abuses of regular use and an enthusiastic puppy.

Answer:	The gate latches to a wall catch plate that holds it while extended. If a baby pushes on the gate or falls on the gate while extended it will flex as the retractable roller does not lock in place. We use these gates as dog barriers and my dogs jump on them all the time, it will flex and then return to use position.
Question:	How wide is panel
Answer:	Be VERY cautious if you are buying this for a large opening. Yes it does extend to 70-71 inches (not 72)... however, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: you need to twist the knob on the left side of the screen before it retracts, and at the same time use your right hand to unhook the screen on the right side. This is a safety feature to make it hard for little kids to retract the screen, it makes it nearly impossible to use for a very large opening, unless you have like a 7-foot wing span and can reach both end of the screen at once. I'm going to contact amazon for a refund because this is not mentioned in the listing info. While it does technically extend to close to six feet, it is not practical at all to use for a six foot opening. (and unfortunately I didn't find this out until it was mounted and I drilled 8 holes in my wall.)

Answer:	We use the "Baby" Gate for our two standard poodles. We have not mounted it to the walls; instead, we use it as a stand alone fence to temporarily block off certain areas. We have it set up now as a kind of playpen for our 5 month old puppy to keep her confined while housebreaking and to keep her from eating our other dog's food at meal times. It works perfectly. We've been using it now for almost two years. Of course, it isn't as secure as it would be if it were attached to the walls, but we wanted something more portable to be used in various places.
Question:	is it free standing on carpet? i want to use this as barrier gate like an arch, does this product serve its purpose?fall when pushed by kids
Answer:	It was not mounted for a couple days and I had to secure it with bins on either side. It currently is wall mounted and I would not trust it around children. When I push on it, it has quite a bit of give (12 inches). I can push it and pull it which is probably putting a lot of stress on the wall screws. The only reason I am keeping it is because I have a 20lb mostly blind dog and not an active toddler.
Question:	will it handle chilren shaking the fence
Answer:	My son jumps up and down trying to shake the fence when he has temper tantrums. It holds up just fine. That said, ours is cable-tied down to rubber mats (link below). I highly recommend this solution, as in addition to shaking, many kids try to move the walls of these things and can move the entire pen around the room. Answer:	I have used it on slate and brick surfaces but see no reason it would not work on hardwood. It does not get condensate on the underside which would be the greatest concern with hardwood floors. Question:	How far apart are the slats
Answer:	I know the description said it was "food grade" so I don't know if that means non-toxic or not. I use mine inside and the water bowl and food bowl hold it down. Outside would probably be ok as long as your bowls are heavy enough to hold them down in the case of wind. I would just put the bowls on the cement if they were outside. I am only concerned with the water spilling over on my inside floors not my outside cement areas.

Answer:	Not sure what you want to pen in, but you can always add some fasteners if you need it to stay. It’s really nice quality, heavy feel. But it wouldn’t keep a little child from figuring out a way to topple it.

Answer:	Yes, it is very light and easy to push away. We reinforced it by putting two stools next to the ends. Our dogs, however, aren't smart/brave enough to push the gate over :)

Answer:	I’m using mine to span a 54 inch opening between my entry way and the rest of my apartment and it’s perfectly sized for that task. Mine is the three panel version.

Answer:	My golden retriever figured out how to move the gate after reaching 40 lbs. He's probably closer to 50-60 lbs now and still growing. The fence is very unstable when pushed around by a dog. It has fallen down quite a few times doing damage on the fall. I tried using two in front of my stairs. Not an issue for my retriever to get passed. The bolted gate is probably better for larger breeds. I think any dog breed that is decent intelligence and over 40 lbs will figure this gate out in the long run.
Question:	How big is the opening to walk thru the gate
Answer:	I just measured the space between the slats and they are 1 1/2 inch apart. A small rabbit would have no problem getting thru but a big guy couldn't. We use our gate for a small puppy and it is well built and can't be pushed or pulled over. Hope this helps. J. Day

Answer:	Each panel is just about 20 1/4 inchs wide. I held our up straight and three panels measured 60 inches. The four all together was approximately 80 all together. Hopes this helps.

Answer:	I think each section is 20 inches wide so it should go all the way across but you may need to add a way to attach it to the walls (small hooks) to keep it from falling over. I do love mine.

Question:	Is there any sort of warranty
Answer:	Unfortunately I don't know the exact answer to this question. We did lose a few nuts and bolts on our gate as well, and my husband went to Lowe's to purchase the replacements. I doubt they come in bronze, though. He now just checks and tightens them up every so often. This is the only thing about this gate that I find to be a problem.
Question:	Does this come with brackets to attach to wall
Answer:	As the unit has soddered connections which you can see in the picture, if ordering another set, you'd only be able to use the center panel to extend it, it looks like to me. I block off the end of the unit for my needs so as to make it work as is.
Question:	I only see pictures of this around a fire place or making a play yard. Is this gate able to just go straight across
Answer:	No I believe that is the size of the entire gate.

Answer:	Four inches is the widest space between the leaves, although I think the leaves could scrape them if they tried. If you have a puppy who might try to squeeze through I would recommend a gate for babies. And, these gates just sit on the floor so if they did try and squeeze through the gate would probably fall over. This gate works well for my shih tzus because they don't realize they could push through if they wanted, and it looks nice in the main area of my house. So, pups who might try to squeeze through, I wouldn't recommend it.
