Question:	With the gate in door way will the bedroom door shut
Answer:	Yes and no. It has mounts that are shaped like a disk with raised edges that screw in. Then the gate has pressure mounts that fit into the disk that are screwed into the wall. The pressure mounts have a nut on it that you turn to tighten. It comes with a wrench you can use, but I used my own. These gates are not going anywhere. A lot of people complain how hard they are to remove them when they are done. When I started reading their complaints, I knew this was the gate. I rather have a gate that is hard to remove, because that equals a kid that is not going to get hurt. Walls can be repaired, my child's life cannot.

Answer:	For 29.5-32.3" use only the gate. For 32.3-35" use the 2.75" extension on hinge side. For 35-37.8" use the 5.5" extension on hinge side. For 37.8-41" use the 2.75" on latch side and 5.5" on hinge side. For 41-43.3" use the 11" on hinge side. For 43.3-46.1" use 2.75" on latch side and 11" on hinge side. Answer:	It's a pretty heavy gate. I have it installed into a stud. In one case I even nailed a 2x4 to the stud in the wall and then attached the gate to that. I wouldn't attach it directly to drywall (no stud), I can easily see it coming out of the wall.

Answer:	The hinge could be at 90 degrees, but you will need to mount it to a stud with larger screws than they include.

Answer:	I purchased this model second hand and I love it because the wide opening, I’m using it to keep my fur babies out the kitchen when cooking or baking, I was a lil disappointed that it didn’t fit the area I was trying to gate off so I decided to fix it got out my dremel and proceeded to cut down to size and reattached the plastic pieces that hold the pressure nuts walla perfect fit and compared to Regato baby gate much more sturdy and solid. I recommend this HIGHLY if you don’t mind a lil DIY. Hope this helps the next person considering a baby gate purchase or fur baby deterrent.

Answer:	I don't remember the actual length of hardware or thickness of brackets, but I absolutely do not recomment using the mounting hardware (i.e. screws and anchors) that come with this gate. Gate should be mounted directly into a stud and you will need longer screws than what comes with the gate to accomplish this. The screws that come with this gate are WAY too short to effectively reach into a wall stud once it goes through the mounting bracket and drywall.

Answer:	I think it would be easy to add a blocking plate to the frame if you only want one direction opening. The gate snaps shut in closed position automatically so it may not be necessary This is a very well made and sturdy hate that I use at the top of a steep stairway. The best I've seen.

Answer:	The gate structure is 28.25 inches tall. My installed height is 30" because I wanted a smaller gap at the bottom. Given the less than 4" gap rule the tallest the installed gate should ever be is 30.24" tall.

Answer:	Here's the deal. You purchased an attractive, but poorly manufactured gate. So did I and welcome to the club. It only gets worse from here, so if you're smart you shod return it and purchase something else. If you are dumb and stubborn like me, by all means keep it and suffer the consequences. The reason your gate doesn't slide down is most lily because it's getting hung on the screw heads. The holes need to be countersunk deeper than they are to accomosh this. A countersink bit is too wide to fit into the trough to accomplish this, so you or your mignon will need to do this using a 1/4" (ish) drill bit and further counter sink the hole creatively. The good news is that the rail is aluminum, which is very soft and makes this doable. After this is done, you should be able to slide the gate in with relative ease. Then you'll be home free for a few months until it needs a mystery adjustment. Good luck!

Answer:	I got this gate to keep my very stubborn dog out of the basement. It’s a string and sturdy gate and has def done the job. But I will say it’s meant to not be easily open by kids. Therefor it’s kinda difficult to get with one hand. You have to turn a little latch in the opposite direction the gate will open, either towards you or away from you. While also pulling up on the gate to get a peg out from the notch covered by said latch and then swinging the gate open.

Answer:	We have discovered if the screws are a little loose, the gates will stay open by themselves. You might have to play with it to get the tension just right, but it works for us. We also have the plastic cups fastened to the wall - not sure if that makes a difference.

Answer:	I haven't had any issues with these. I have two of them in my house and they both work wonderfully. I can hold the baby in one hand and push the button down with the other and lift easily to get the gate open. Maybe you tightened it too much on the wall?? Or it is just a faulty one. But I would suggest either loosening it from the wall or getting a new one. I love ours!!

Answer:	This one folds down completely. we had returned a different one that folded down but at an angle and it was a major tripping hazard. I guess it depends on how high off the floor your bed is but for us this has been great. It folds flat out of the way and the mechanism to raise and lower it are really child friendly (no sharp or squared off edges)
