Answer:	I would say 2... I wash one load a day, so when I grab laundry from it, there is room to spare. I've also used it for day outings for our large family's swim towels (8 towels) and 3 puddle jumpers + floaties. It stays a little collapsed if not stuffed full, so you can usually pull up on the handles to get the contents to settle and fit more in.

Answer:	I don’t see why not. Try to empty it out frequently so it doesnt get musty. It’s fabric after all and can get and stay wet.
