Answer:	There is only one setting. The height i's fine. My granddaughter has been in mine since she was 3 months old. She is now 14months and when she stands she is waist high. The height from the floor to the top of the mattress is 18 inches. I bought a Porto crib mattress and use the pad that came with the crib on the bottom. I highly recommend this product. Very secure.

Answer:	It's not a one-piece mattress. It's two 2" thick foam pieces (19"x19") which is the only way the "bed" can be folded up as shown. The foam pieces are removable. They're attached to the "frame" by velcro and each has a velour type zippered cover.

Answer:	Might be better for a child who is already sleeping in a "big kid bed" and knows they are supposed to stay in it. We use it for our great-grandson one day a week; he's not quite crawling. Also, we just sit there and watch him sleep so he can't sneak out! His parents borrowed it for a road trip and it worked ok, but again, he's not yet very mobile.

Answer:	I would estimate that 50lbs would do it. We use it for a 32 lb child. When they get bigger, and older, they start climbing out of the crib anyway so you have to take the rail down or just get a good twin bed and mattress.

Making sure you are always keeping an eye on your baby, no matter where they are sleeping of course.Make sure you give your baby "Tummy time". For several minutes a day placing your baby on it's tummy allows them to turn their heads on their own, but they say it reduces SIDS and helps them from getting flat head.The hammock in the pack and play, in my opinion, is as good as a bassinet.
