They stayed in the top bassinet until they started sitting on their own, and then used the bottom as their bed until they were 18 months to 2 years old before we transitioned them to a crib. We got a convertible crib that turns into a big kid bed. Doing exactly the same thing now with baby #2. I just ordered this bassinet for them. It's the easiest, safest, and most cost effective way to do things in my opinion. I really did consider other options but this is just the best thing I can think of.

Answer:	I don't know if there are inserts but i just tuck a receiving blanket in there and it seemsto work fine and it stays smooth until I get it cleaned.

Answer:	Yes. And they have mesh sides for breathability at the top. My twins slept in the bassinets for several months.
Question:	Is there a mattress you sell that will fit the napper? Every bassinet mattress we’ve bought is way too big and the napper alone is not infant safe
Answer:	Yes. They should be sleeping on their backs anyway. If too warm, remove blanket/swaddler.

Answer:	You could... but it’s the same size as any standard pack n play so it would be tight for twins. I ended up going with a different brand for a larger pack n play. Used this just for the bassenet and now toy storage

Answer:	This unit is impossible to fold into anything smaller than a 19” round circle. PS the unit was completed bent when I received my brand new unit. I returned it looks like it was used
