Answer:	Standard baby bed mattress.
Question:	does it fit for 6 yr old kid
Answer:	My 7yr old fits comfortably, hes an average size 7yr old
Question:	Is this bed sturdy
Answer:	So far this bed is sturdy. I had trouble assembling it because the holes did not match up. some were not punched out completely and some holes too large and the screws were smaller than the hole. Would I purchase it again? No!
Question:	will this fit a standard crib mattress
Answer:	I’m not too sure because I got the recommended mattress to go with the bed frame. Interesting enough, the fitted crib sheet I had from Kmart did fit. I hope this helps. 🤞🏻
