Answer:	the non-stick plates make it really easy to clean. i love my waffle maker and am really happy i got this one. ilooked at all reviews on other waffle makers, i decided to get this one and am so happy i did.

Answer:	Belgian waffles are thicker, with larger holes and thicker walls between the holes. The biggest consequence is that there can be greater difference in the moisteness of the interior and exterior, allowing for crispy outside and moist, light inside.

Answer:	It is 24 inches long, for some reason the one I was sent has a replaced cord that measures 12 inches unlike the standard one, it was obviously refurbished. The waffle iron is usually great. We bought one to replace ours and we had that one for 13 years. Just having problems with these as they seem to not be new. Amazon has been great and just issued a refund for mine which is defective.
