Answer:	The little recycling arrows thing? It's a 5. I find if you microwave a long time it's not the bowl but the tops that can become warped. Every so often we lose one that way. But I still love these because the tops snap so tight.

Answer:	I have a wooden kitchen table that has a poly seal on it and it works fine. I think you should be ok as long as it is a smooth surface, versus a true farm table with the variations in grain from the wood.

Answer:	Yes, haven’t broken or chipped one for ages. In fact, I ordered a second set in case of breakage, my first set was purchased for in 2004 and I’ve taken only 2 glasses from the box as of now.
