Answer:	The flow is slow but the nipple that comes with this cup tends to flatten out so I have to continually pull it out of my baby s mouth to reinflate it. Other than that this cup is really nice. Answer:	Not at all! This was my sons first cup ever at 11 mo! When they suck it up the straw holds it so they don’t have to suck as long the next time (if that makes sense!)

Answer:	yes, they have to suck to get anything out. It is fairly leak proof (unless shaking really hard), so even if it is tipped back, they will not get anything out of the straw unless they suck on it. I hope this helps. If he doesn't understand sucking, then a straw might not be the most ideal option. We tried the avent sippy/trainer cup and it has a fairly large opening, so it would come out with little to no effort. It didn't work for us because my l/o sucks too hard then drinks it way too fast and gets sick- but since he doesn't really suck then it might be worth giving it a try.

Answer:	Take off the top part that flips. Push the soft straw through the lid. Click the top piece back in and push the straw through it. Pull the straw until it makes a muffled “click.”

Answer:	We currently don't sell individual replacement soft spouts. This product does, however, come with our medium flow nipple in addition to the soft spout.

Answer:	I'm not exactly sure. My one year old has to suck to get the milk flowing though. It doesn't come out at all otherwise. It's his favorite sippy cup though. I think the soft nipple is a winner.
