Answer:	I make applesauce and pureed sweet potato weekly. You can fit 2 cut sweet potatoes in one basket, and 2-3 small cut apples in the second basket to steam at once. I've put 3 apples in the blender and it makes about three 5-ounce jars. sweet potato is even thicker so it could be four to five servings! depends on your little one's appetite :) I find this product is great for meal prep.

Answer:	You could stop blending it while it's still lumpy.
Question:	How well does it puree? I have bought other ones and they don't get the food pureed for my 5 month old
Answer:	In my opinion it did a great job getting food pureed. You can use the wand in a separate bowl and get it as broken down as you needs. I loved this and plan on starting to use it for smoothies now that my kid is over a year. Never had an issue with this not breaking down food though when she was six months.

Answer:	Only cooked.
Question:	does the chopper perform well when filled with thick food? does it create a good vortex so that the stuff on top gets pulled down

Question:	Is there a hole in the lid to add liquids during blending
Answer:	I mostly use it for cheese but I have sliced onions in it and i liked the way they came out. they were individual piecies not the crappy mush some "choppers" leave you with.

Answer:	It does a really good job. I used it to make a small batch of cashew cheese. It minced the nuts easily then when I added the other ingredients it pureed well despite only being a small batch

Answer:	A key function of any food processor is to make purees. The Hamilton Beach 12 cup, turns out a very very coarse paste and purees. No matter how long you process the puree, it will not develop past a certain point. If you need the processor for vegetable prepping, it works as expected.

Answer:	Mine just had a twisty tie on the cord which is pretty short so I threw it away.

Answer:	I don't know about disposable options, but I did find there are other re-usable pouches that fit the machine. You can use, wash and re-use.
Question:	Just out of curiosity has anyone found a reusable pouch that works with the station. I know you have screw on the top thingy thought I'd just ask

Question:	can you reuse the pouches
Answer:	yes you can reuse them, just rinse them out with acidic water from your water ionizer which you should have anyways if you are making food for your baby, why don't you have a alkaline water ionizer? anyways the water is acidic so nothing will grow in them when its rinsed out and then if you just shake the water mostly all the way out you can refill them right away and it will most likely be safe but I am not a doctor
Question:	Do I really need this system or can I just buy their 50 ct pouches and use a jumbo syringe to fill them
Answer:	You can try a syringe. I tried one, ...as well as pastry bags, they mostly worked, but it took a TON longer and it was a much bigger mess. I hate having extra kitchen gadgets around, but when you are doing 20-30 packs at a time, I found this filling station made things go much more smoothly... I wanted to hate it. I love it.
