Answer:	I have both the 6oz side and the 8.5oz size. I use the 8.5oz for more often. I suggest you purchase the 8.5oz size because you can always put in a bit less food.
Question:	What can you write on the lids with? Is there a special pen that washes off
Answer:	I suppose you can use a sharpie, as I do on other lids of glass storage bins with plastic tops - but I wouldn't expect the writing to wash off easily. If you want to label these, as I occasionally do, use the "Extreme" version of Post-Its, which has a tighter seal than the standard Post-It - you can trim it to fit the top of the lid, and remove it for the next day's lunch. The" Extreme" version paper is much higher quality - almost waterproof so your note remains clean & easy to read.

Answer:	Hi Ann, they're made in China just like most of the containers and millions of other products. Please note that China can and does make high quality products, such as Apple products. Most of the labels state "made in the USA," but what that really means is "designed in the USA" and then manufactured in China. Pay attention to this when you're looking for products that are only made in the USA. They're often misleading and there is usually no way to find out unless the manufacturer will honestly answer your question once you reach out to them via an email or phone call.
