Concerned About Your Babycook Reservoir?

If you notice staining on the bottom of your Babycook's stainless steel water reservoir that resembles discolored dots, don't worry. This is not mold or rust. It's a normal and harmless buildup of calcium carbonate minerals called limescale - give it a google! Limescale is a direct result of heating up water and is inevitable with all stainless steel depending on the mineral concentration in your water. Other than discoloring and affecting the aesthetics, is not cause for any concern. Calcium carbonate doesn’t dissolve easily in water which is why soap and water will not remove the deposits - you need a mixture containing vinegar. Clean reservoir as follows:

• Pour 1 cup vinegar into reservoir and let it sit overnight
• Pour out vinegar by tipping appliance over sink
• Repeat as necessary until clean
• Once clean, run 2 steam cycles with plain water on water level 3 to rinse out the vinegar
• Always use blending lid to prevent food from getting inside of reservoir + descale the Babycook regularly.

Question:	Why is it after i set the time for steam it just blinks? Anybody can help here pls. First time using this baby food processor
Answer:	Sometimes it doesn’t work if there isn’t enough water in the tank. If you have enough, you have to hit the 4 square button to navigate to the steam, set the time you want, then hit the power button. It may take a few seconds to kick on.
Question:	Is it smooth to blend to make meat puree
Answer:	Yes! I have used it for blending many times. I usually blend for pumpkin or fruit smooth puree! Baby enjoy it that we make baby food for him.
Question:	Whether the cutter head of the mixing cup can be removed and cleaned
Answer:	I can remove the blades to clean separately, and it is easy to install. Be very careful when handling the blade set as the blade is very sharp.
Question:	Is this baby food maker easy to operate
Answer:	I used it for two weeks and found the LCD panel convenient. The touch screen panel is much better than the button panel I used before. It's easy to choose the function setting you need.

Question:	How do you clean food out from inside the handle
Answer:	We are happy to tell you that our blending bowl is designed so that you can separate the parts for a thorough cleaning! The outer-design of our bowl is made up of 3 parts: the bowl itself (which is one solid glass piece, so the food inside does not come in contact with anything in the handle), the base (ring at the bottom), and the handle. Because of small gaps, it is possible for water (or even food) to become trapped inside. For a step-by-step instructions on how the bowl parts can be disassembled see below: Take the blade out of the bowl for safety (remove blade cautiously, as it is sharp) Put the bowl upside down Disassemble the plastic bowl base (simply unclip it) Put the bowl right side up again Using a thin knife blade or flat head screwdriver unclip the bowl handle from the inner top portion of the bowl.
