Answer:	No. The bottle itself is just like the other bottles. You can put a normal nipple and ring on it, if need be. The ring, nipple and vent tube that comes with this can fit on any bottle, but must be used together. This nipple does not have a valve on it so you cannot use it with a normal ring. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The purple part, in conjunction with the white ring, regulate air flow within the bottle. Without these two pieces correctly attached within the bottle, a terrible leak occurs. So, while you can use the bottle without these pieces inserted properly, your baby will be covered in milk.

Answer:	Of course you can use this if you never breast fed! There are no rules! But it wasn't my favorite bottle for my baby. The nipple collapses.
Question:	Do these bottles leak? we have the playtex ventair and they all leak from both top and bottom
Answer:	These leaked several times for me and i did not damage the valve, i actually replaced all the valves with new ones to try and solve the issue. I wouldnt buy these again or recommend them. There are probably better bottles out there that dont have a prime leak spot built into the design.

DESCALING

It is recommended to descale the bottle warmer every four weeks to ensure it continues to work efficiently.

1.Mix 10g citric acid cleaner with 200ml/3.4oz of cold water to descale the bottle warmer. Turn on the bottle warmer, select the STERILIZING FUCTION then wait for 2-3 minutes after boiling, the descaling is completed.

2.Mix 50ml/1.7 oz of white vinegar with 100ml/3.4oz of cold water to descale the bottle warmer. Switch on the bottle warmer, select the MILK WARMING FUCTION and wait for 10 minutes. Leave the solution in the bottle warmer until all scale has dissolved.

NOTE:

1.Never dry out

2.Do not use other types of descalers
