Answer:	Yes, they are waterproof.... if I were to provide children with mud and water etc.. it would give protection but may still need to change their clothes if it splatters on their pants, shoes, head etc.

Answer:	No, they are thin plastic. They would melt. But they dry quickly just hanging up for the same reason.

Question:	Is the back made of plastic
Answer:	No, it’s made of one layer of 100% polyester fabric. It can be machine washed but I’d not risk putting it in the dryer. It hangs dry very quickly. I’ve had others that have a plastic like backing and it came apart in the dryer.
Question:	How long are these bibs (from neck to bottom)? Some bibs pop up above the tray when my kiddo eats & it's SO annoying
Answer:	8.5 inches from neck to bottom. I like these bibs, they are easy to clean, including putting them in the washing machine. They hold up and don't stain. Depending on your highchair they may pop up but I don't feel like that is a problem for me.
Question:	Do these bibs have a fabric backing, with waterproof coating on front? Do they distort when put through the washing machine
Answer:	It's such a good question- it's not like the fabric of the bibs you're talking about. There is no fabric backing, it's all one layer of material similar to "parachute" material. They don't distort when you put them in the washing machine like the fabric backed bibs you're talking about. They're wonderful to wash! I wouldn't dry them though in a drier. I haven't tried it, and I just take mine out of the washer to dry.
Question:	do they fit a toddler
Answer:	I know this is old, but... I just bought these for my 17 month old since everyone said they'd fit a toddler. I should have checked the length though because they're definitely not long enough for my (medium height) toddler. There are better bibs for toddlers, though a bit more expensive. Disappointed in these (would work great for older babies though).

Answer:	I put mine in regular wash and dry on medium or low. I don’t know if that’s what the care instructions say or not, but I feel like it’s held up fine for us washing it that way. Just make sure Velcro is fastened so it doesn’t stick to other items.

Answer:	The baby shouldnt have trouble seeing the food if he’s wearing it correctly. No needs to turn inside out.

Answer:	Little messes I wipe, big ones I just throw it in the wash and hang to dry (it has gone to the dryer accidentally) and haven't had a problem, I just make sure to buckle the velcro. If you are concerned do it on delicate and hang to dry.

Question:	Is the bib breathable? The one that I got is not and my daughter's sweats a lot wearing it
Answer:	It's made of a thin woven-type fabric that has a plastic type coating on the back. It's one layer with the outside feeling like fabric and the inside feeling like plastic. I'm not familiar with the types of material needed to embroider, but I would think you could.
Question:	Can my son take this off by himself? Indeed a bib that he *cannot* remove, because he always rips bibs off
Answer:	Yes, I think so. My 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter wears hers and has plent of room. Her 4 year old brother fits in it, too. I've bought 6+ and love them as gifts to grands and youngsters !

Question:	If i buy it, can I put it in londry with other clothes. The first set that I bought of different ones, would not be clean
Answer:	We ordered this bib for our then 8 month old grandson. He’s now almost 12 months. This bib has been used three times every day since it arrived and has been machine washed (cool water, briefly cool dryer) many times. It’s held up well. It still looks brand new. It appears to be made of a water repellent fabric - keeps him clean and dry while eating and he’s a messy self feeder. It feels soft to the touch, no plastic feel, no smell even when new. It was made in China- what isn’t today? We think this bib will still be useful when he can draw and paint at an easel as it’s quite long and big. An excellent purchase from our standpoint.
