Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. The level nipple is located on the side of the nipple. We have levels 1, 2, 3 and 4. This set will include level 1 and 2. The numbers you are seeing on the bottom are manufacturing codes.

Answer:	Yes the bottles are standard, however they come worth removable valves (and extra valves) that help with babies who have difficulty eating ( like babies born with cleft lip and cleft palate) if you have a child that was born with one of these are has difficulty creating suction that's what these bottles are for. Again they come with extra valves so you can go out and buy the regular dr. Brown's bottles and put the valves into those as well. Also that come with level 1 nipples so if you have a child that's older than 3 months then you'll have to buy level two three or four nipples. They are amazing my son was born with a cleft lip and palate and we switched him from the pigeon bottles to these

Answer:	Yes. These can be used without the valves as well. There are other dr browns bottles without the valves if you need.

Answer:	No, you can contact Dr. Brown's directly and ask them for purchasing. We got most of ours from our cranio-facial team and speech therapist during her feed evaluations at the hospital. I would also try there.

Answer:	This product does not claim to be gluten free, however it is made with gluten free ingredients. My best guess is it is MOSTLY gluten free, but packaged in a facility that processes gluten products and would be cross-contaminated. This may not be a problem for those with less severe intolerance, those with Celiac or other severe gluten exacerbated issues should avoid these products.

Answer:	I am sorry but I have no way of knowing that. Someone at the warehouse would have to look at the package for a use by date. I used my order over a period of several months and the last pack was as fresh as the first. Hope that helps a little.

Answer:	I don't think it's good for a 7 month old (assuming he/she started at the typical 6 months for solids). The chia is ground up but you can still feel the grainyness.

Answer:	Does not say anything about being uncooked. Neither do any of the other brands of baby food (jars and pouches) I have in the pantry.

Question:	Anyone heard that cooked greens start forming nitrates(carcinogenic) in storage? Wondering if there are any such detriments to this sort of product
Answer:	Nitrates are not formed during cooking. Nitrates are absorbed from the soil during growth and so they are a naturally occurring component of vegetables and are part of their metabolism. Infants under 3 months of age are at increased risk for nitrite (not nitrate, but the pH of an infant stomach can facilitate conversion of nitrates to nitrites) toxicity known as methemoglobinemia; but unless you are feeding your Regarding nitrite formation during storage, there are several factors which will inhibit that in commercial foods. First it is likely these are cooked in a moist environment either by steam or by blanching, both of which reduce vegetable nitrate content. Additionally, some of the conversion of nitrates to nitrites is facilitated by enzymes in the plant and bacteria in the environment. Both enzymes and bacteria will be inactivated by the heat necessary to produce a shelf stable package, so conversion from nitrate to nitrite should be minimal during shelf storage.

Question:	how long is the expiration for each bottle
Answer:	For each made bottle, directions say feed baby with prepared bottle and discard remaining formula after 1 hour.
Question:	Does this formula use hexane to extract the dha/ara
Answer:	Maybe you can ask the manufacturers, just to be sure but based on what I have read Happy baby organic source’s DHA from non-GMO algae.
Question:	What is the difference from stage 1 to stage
Answer:	Stage one is 0-12 months. Stage 2 is 6-12 months and according to their website, it has more nutrients for older babies.

Question:	Why did the price almost double in the last couple weeks
Answer:	That should work. The shelf life looks like it's one year.
Question:	How many prunes are in each pouch
Answer:	I haven't tried freezing them but I bet it would work best if you took the cap off to do so. There is not too much room in the pouch for expansion. I think the fruit ones taste much better to adults than the vegetable ones.
Question:	Once the pouch is opened, can we refrigerate and reuse? how many days can we refrigerate
Answer:	The concentrate it has is lemon juice concentrate. My feeling is that it probably doesn't contain very much lemon juice, it's added just to keep it from going bad. Like when I put lemon juice on cut apples to keep them from going brown. I would rather have the lemon juice than chemicals. These do have 14g of sugar BUT the average banana also has 14g of sugar so that is where I'm guessing the sugar is coming from in these. I'd also rather have natural sugars from fruits than artificial or added sugars. Hope this helps! My only dislike on these is there size. My two year old hardly ever finishes one if these but she finishes other brands that are smaller.
