By the time he was 8 months he had his first couple sets of teeth and was on Stage 2. We introduced Stage 3 and 4 by 12 months. So, use your best judgement on when to step up in flavors.

Answer:	Nitrates are not formed during cooking. Nitrates are absorbed from the soil during growth and so they are a naturally occurring component of vegetables and are part of their metabolism. Infants under 3 months of age are at increased risk for nitrite (not nitrate, but the pH of an infant stomach can facilitate conversion of nitrates to nitrites) toxicity known as methemoglobinemia; but unless you are feeding your Regarding nitrite formation during storage, there are several factors which will inhibit that in commercial foods. First it is likely these are cooked in a moist environment either by steam or by blanching, both of which reduce vegetable nitrate content. Additionally, some of the conversion of nitrates to nitrites is facilitated by enzymes in the plant and bacteria in the environment. Both enzymes and bacteria will be inactivated by the heat necessary to produce a shelf stable package, so conversion from nitrate to nitrite should be minimal during shelf storage.

I only use water after the occasional thorough cleaning of the douche. (Dedicate) a deep/clean/cup,/bowl, or any other suitable water container. Filling is easy. Firmly squeeze the reservoir bulb, holding it squeezed. Keeping the water bulb Compressed tightly, place the tube nozzle nto the cup of water. Let the bulb expand while the tube is in the water. The water is drawn up into the bulb filling it. Squeeze the bulb a few times while the tube is under water. All excess air is pushed out and the water is drawn in. Repeat to fill it again.
