Answer:	I don't think it's good for a 7 month old (assuming he/she started at the typical 6 months for solids). The chia is ground up but you can still feel the grainyness.

First it is likely these are cooked in a moist environment either by steam or by blanching, both of which reduce vegetable nitrate content. Both enzymes and bacteria will be inactivated by the heat necessary to produce a shelf stable package, so conversion from nitrate to nitrite should be minimal during shelf storage.

Answer:	I think most mothers have fed these foods to their babies. The reason I feed it to my cat is because I knew from the experience of feeding my babies this food. It is easily digested and is nutritious.

Just some food for thought when the breakdown of ingredient ratios is not present!
