Answer:	It is a plastic clip. It would be easy to extend the tether with another clip or whatever you prefer. FYI:There is a piece of Velcro next to the clip if you want to use the tether without the harness.

Answer:	Good morning! We do not recommend machine washing the harness. We recommend surface washing with warm, soapy water, rinsing thoroughly and letting it air dry.
Question:	How would you rate the security of this harness? I have a fuzzy backpack type harness and my daughter is able to escape easily
Answer:	I thought it was quite strong. The velcro that holds it together is quite large. My daughter was actually leaning forward in the "look mommy I'm flying " position, and it held. The Velcro strip is probably 2 inches wide by several inches long. Matter of fact, it's kind of a pain to get it undone. And if the shoulder straps are adjusted correctly, there's no way they can get out in my opinion. I think you will be happy. We were. And I'm really picky.
Question:	What size child will this harness fit
Answer:	When I bought it my daughter was just walking at about 1 year. She is now 2 1/2 and it still fits her still has much more room for growth til about 4 or 5. I would definitely recommend it!! :-)

Answer:	Well, we used it with our 4 and a half month old baby girl and it was fine really. But just to clarify: she holds her neck up really well for her age.

We do not test with other brands to be able to advise of the compatibility. Typically, the stroller manufacturers test and provide adapters for the car seats of their choosing. For the best information, we would recommend contacting the stroller manufacturer directly.
