Answer:	I'm not the law and I only know this from having lived in the U.S. for the past nearly 20 years; don't know exactly for what purpose you would want to put a child in a booster seat in the front passenger seat. According to the passenger restrictions and requirement of motorized vehicle, where a child needs to be on a restrain and the department of motor vehicle, children under the age of 12 and under 4'11" can't seat in the front passenger seat.

Answer:	This does not need anchors, it is to position the child properly regarding the seat belt in the event of an accident. Answer:	Yikes! I had all 3 of my children in a 5 point rear facing until 2, and 5 point front facing latch until 5. A 10 month old is far too tiny for less than 5 point harness for many years, please choose safety not price.

Answer:	It is MUCH simpler to latch and unlatch than a normal harness car seat. Also, it is not absolutely necessary to use the latch system (I believe I read this in the instructions), because the latch system is just there to keep the booster in place when a child is not sitting in it with the seat belt on.

My daughter is 4 1/2 and tall for her age and she loves the seat. We recently drove from Sydney to Queensland, a 12 hour drive, and she was fine all the way, even when sleeping. Hope this info helps.

Answer:	I'm sorry, are you sure she's 8 and 36 pounds? That would have her off the bottom of the charts for growth. 5% is 45 pounds at that age. If she's that size/age, I think you'll need to assess whether this is a viable seat for her.
Question:	Hi, this booster works for kids until what age? Also, is just a waist seat belt enough to secure this booster
Answer:	My 6 yr old granddaughter is using it and there is plenty of room. We use it with the shoulder/lap belt combined. I wouldn't use any booster with just the lap belt.

Answer:	No, but the plus model does.
Question:	How does the shoulder belt clip work? It it attached to the seat somehow
Answer:	The red belt clip is adhered to the rear of the Chicco GoFit Booster seat using a web fabric strap. The clip attaches to the vehicle shoulder strap using the open slot in the clip. The instructions demonstrate the proper placement of the clip. The only problem is that the position does not stay constant. Whenever the child reapplies the seat belt, the clip must be readjusted which should be done properly by an adult. I bought this booster because of the shoulder belt clip, but it doesn't work as well as I'd hoped. My seven year old grandson doesn't ride with me frequently so I have some time to work with another way to make the strap stay more firmly in place, perhaps adding an 'S' type buckle. Answer:	16"!!!My son had an Eddie Bauer that was supposed to fit him until he "didn't legally" have to sit in it. We had to get a new one once his little legs started growing he just wasn't comfortable. This Graco car seat has the head rest and the way he sits in it he falls asleep every time we get in get in the car if it's longer than a 15 min ride!!! Love the seat; took it to a saftey inspection and was told that it is one of the better seats on the market. We love it!!!! It adjusts to them there is a lever in the back to make them more comfortable and do much safer than the booster seats alone. It has a place to slide the seatbelt in to make sure it is positioned properly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Answer:	No, is not approved for airplanes.
Question:	Will this seat be easy to carry through airports, with the high back, to have child sit in on the airplane
Answer:	Booster seats cannot be used on airplane seats only harnessed car seats that meet FAA requirements. You can gate check the car seat for free, the only down side is you have to carry it through the airport. I have found it easiest to buy one of those luggage dollies and hook the booster up to it. Don't check it at the regular baggage check in though it has a higher chance of being broken.

Answer:	It's 15" across at the widest point of the head rest.
Question:	How comfortable is the padding? Is it fairly thick? cheaply made
Answer:	I ordered 2 in black and the padding is very thin- about a 1/4 inch of very soft padding even on seat and behind head, so it just feels like a hard plastic surface. My not picky 5 year old who is very eager for a booster sat in it for a few seconds and was very upset by how uncomfortable it was. Sending it back. It looks from the other pictures that there is way more padding on the other colors so I might try one of them.
