Answer:	I'm not sure. Definitely not glass like a real mirror. But not the "cheap" mirror-like material on most baby toys that distorts their image

Shaban, we suggest any soiled fabrics be surfaced washed with a dampened cloth and a small amount of baby-safe fabric soap, followed with a dampened cloth with clean water to remove any soapy residue. We cannot recommend machine washing or drying the octopus with confidence because we have not tested this way of cleaning the travel toy and cannot guarantee it will maintain its original condition.
