Answer:	Our whole family uses it. Everyone loves how it smells!

Answer:	It does leave a white cast when you first put it on, but it then blends pretty well. If there is any cast after blending, it is truly very minor.
Question:	Does this stain clothes or sting the eyes? Is it safe for a 6 month old baby
Answer:	I started using it on my son when he was 6 months old. Never had any clothes stained and he never experienced eye stinging.
Question:	Why is there a bpa warning on this sunscreen? Does it contain bpa
Answer:	I have done extensive research on sunscreen with lots of trial and error. This is, hands down, the safest and most effective sunscreen on the market (if used properly). It specifically says "BPA free" (along with parabens, etc...) in terms of product ingredients. All plastic tubes will have some chemical (some studies suggest non BPA chemicals can be even more harmful) that will leach especially when heated. This is likely why there is a reminder on the bottle to keep it out of heat or direct sun. You cannot avoid this with any sunscreen. This is a great sunscreen and I trust it on my kids. But, it has to be applied correctly, and often, in the summer - just like any sunscreen. Hope this helps.

UVA & UVB Broad-Spectrum

Consumers have been led to believe that ultra-high SPF numbers like 70 and 100 provide much more protection than SPF 30. This is False. SPF 30 provides 97% protection from UVB and SPF 100 provides 99% coverage for UVB. We tell folks if you look at the back of the tube and you see a bunch of words you don’t recognize, you probably don’t want to put that on your skin. It is important that you’re using a truly Broad-spectrum formula that covers UVA and UVB.

Mineral Based Formula

Chemical sunscreens make up the majority of the market unfortunately. They are both cheap and apply clear. Mineral based solutions can cause some amount of whitening during use and are also more expensive. But at what cost is it cheaper. Some mineral base formulations have also taken to using clear zinc or nano particle sized zinc or titanium. We recommend sourcing a non-nano zinc oxide solution. There is just not enough data on the ability for nano particles getting into the blood stream. As such, it is better to embrace the Precautionary principle.

Water Resistant

There are now three levels of water resistance. Not water resistant, water resistant (40 minutes) and water resistant (80 minutes). We have all become used to seeing words like sweatproof or waterproof. There are now very specific tests. Keep in mind, that if you’re at the beach or pool that you’ll need to reapply after being in the water. And to achieve the SPF factor of your sunscreen you have to reapply every two hours. One application does not keep you at SPF 50 or whatever is on the sunscreen label. And you should be using about 1oz to cover an adult body.

Tips for Application

1. Be sure to apply all areas that will be exposed to sunlight, including behind the ears, neck, hands, feet, and scalp 15 minutes before sun exposure.
2. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours.
3. While the sunscreen applies very easily, we recommend not spreading it too thin. Otherwise you will decrease the effectiveness of the sunscreen.

Answer:	Our lotion has a thick consistency due to the 25% Zinc content. While the lotion applies white, we find our customers appreciate this because they can see where it has been applied and it rubs in clear and is very moisturizing. Question:	When I shake the bottle the contents sound solid. It still sprays but seems almost like rotten milk, does this mean it’s gone bad
Answer:	No, it's not bad. That is why shaking first is so important. It mixes ingredients together so that they aren't 'lumpy' and comes out in fine light spray once shook well. The can even says on it shake well for 5 seconds.
Question:	Is it reef safe
Answer:	The problem we had was that some areas of reef don’t allow aerosol spray. So we could put it on before
Question:	Does this sunscreen rub in without making really white? Also does it make you look shiny
Answer:	Its like a spray zinc and sprays on white. I shake the can and rub it in but there is just a hint of white. No shiny. It stays on even when I get out of the pool. Strong stuff.
Question:	Do you need to rub this in
Answer:	Yes, definitely! I didn't rub it in the first time and got sunburned. The second time around I did rub it in and re-applied. I got sunburned again, but less so. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this product. I'd get the TerraSport Spray (SPF 15) http://amzn.to/295hTX6 or Goddess Garden Kids (SPF 30) spray instead http://amzn.to/297xPuY I am a scuba diver and cyclist so I spend a lot of time in the sun. I threw away the remainder of my bottle of Babo and won't be re-ordering.

Answer:	Thank for your question. This sunscreen is made with 20% Zinc Oxide which offers powerful and safe protection. As a result, the sunscreen has a slight whitening effect. However, if you rub in the sunscreen thoroughly it’s very minimal. The benefits of using a Zinc Oxide sunscreen is worth it - healthier body and oceans. We love it, and hope you will too!

APPLICATION

Extra thick formula for maximum sun protection. Leaves a thin white layer that allows you to see where you’re covered. Apply 30 minutes before going outside, after every 2 hours of sun exposure and right after swimming or excessive sweating.

*Note that natural oils and organic ingredients separate, so massage the tube to mix ingredients before application.
