It is not even recommended to diffuse any essential oils around an infant before the age of six months, and there is a list of those that are safe around the age of 6 months. It is definitely is not safe to apply internally. I work with a company who does essential oils and we have taken classes on the safety and uses of essential oils and was also told this by our naturopathic physician. Answer:	I used this oil for my teething baby starting at 3 months old. This product is not made with essential oils, which are toxic if consumed. This is made by infusing plant material in food grade sunflower oil. My fiance is extremely sensitive to any kind of mint, it gives him an asthma attack, and he is able to use this oil without any problems. I suspect anyone's who's had issues using this with baby may have used too much. As a precaution, when I first used it, I only applied the tiniest amount in a test spot on the outside of my baby's gums. When I saw no negative reaction I felt safe to apply a bit more. She showed signs of relief within 5 minutes of application.

Answer:	Essential oils tend to have a good shelf life if kept in a cool place out of direct sunlight. I’ve had my bottle of this teething oil for about a year and it still seems to work just fine.

Answer:	No, there's no alcohol in our formulation.
Question:	What is the minimum age
Answer:	It's formulated to be safe for all ages, but we recommend using it around 3 months and older. There's many reasons for a child to be fussy, and many of the early signs won't be held by the teething oil as it's a topical solution and can't reach teeth deep in the jaw that are hitting nerves as they move up. Only when the teeth are closer to the surface will it help calm and soothe your baby.

Answer:	Clove oil is considered dangerous when consumed in large amounts as it can negatively impact the liver, cause seizures and fluid imbalances. When applied topically, clove can burn the skin and cause severe irritation if not properly diluted. Due to these factors, we use less clove than the allowed FDA limit by 247% to ensure the safety of children in contact with the teething oil. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, a healthy baby’s normal body temperature falls between 97°F and 100.4°F (36°C and 38°C). So a temperature of 100.4°F or higher is a fever. If your baby is younger than two months old and has any fever, call a doctor right away. If your baby is two months or older and has a fever over 100.4°F, you may use over-the-counter acetaminophen at the appropriate dosage for your baby’s weight. Consult a doctor for recommended dosage if they are younger than two years old. If the fever persists more than 24–48 hours, call a doctor.

Somewhere between four months and twelve months is the most common age for a baby to cut their first tooth. And some parents can tell that their baby seems to be in discomfort a day or two before the tooth arrives. During this time, it may be appropriate to use a pain reliever, like acetaminophen.

If your baby seems fine after their vaccination then there is no need to administer acetaminophen. If they seem to be in discomfort or if they run a fever over 100.4˚F, you may use acetaminophen at the appropriate dosage for their weight. If your baby is less than eight weeks old and has a fever, call a pediatrician before giving them acetaminophen. If your baby is going to have a fever or be in pain, it will likely be in the first 24–36 hours postvaccinations.

Answer:	This works amazing!!!! I highly recommend!!! Dissolves quick and all natural! For my ONE year old son, our nighttime routine is a dose of tylenol shortly before bed for longer pain relief and three tablets of hyland oral pain relief as we are getting ready for bed (my son loves them!). If hes cranky or irritated, these help calm him down enough to fall asleep on his own which really helps everyone get to bed more easily! We've been using them at least 6 months, just pay attention to the age/dose recommendations as every baby is different. My son is on the larger side (about 30 lbs) which is why he gets 3 tabs. They also make daytime as well. I use all their products! ; )
Question:	What is the difference between the daytime and nighttime tablets
Answer:	I'm not a chemist or anything but I do own and use both products. They both have chamomile but nighttime has magnesia phosphorica and silicea in addition to everything daytime has. Perhaps those two combined is what helps calm baby and relaxes them for sleep? All I know is it works great for us!

Answer:	I scrub mine with a soapy bottle brush, rinse in very hot water, and immediately hang dry with the nipple facing down. If you’re careful to never leave the pacifier in standing water (like a bowl of soapy water you’re using to soak bottles), you won’t get water inside the nopple. It takes a bit of extra care, but it’s well worth the effort as these are excellent!
