Answer:	It all depends on the sides of the bed not necessarily what's under it. The security straps have a plastic "T" on the end. They cross from the side with the safety gate under the mattress and out the other side where the "T" is positioned between (usually) the mattress and boxspring. That being said, I did use it briefly on a bed with no box spring and slats under it. We positioned the "T" with one side on the mattress and then just made sure that it was positioned over one of the slats so that it didn't fall through. It did work ok, but not recommended as the straps did occasionally slip due to not having a mattress or board etc. on the other side of the "T." It really all depends on the type of bed and what sides they would have to position the "T" on if that makes any sense.
Question:	Will this be short enough for a crib sized bed? What is minimum length for securing it

Answer:	Although the manufacturer states 37 lb, I have found my 28 lb toddler is already outgrowing hers. She is not particularly chunky in her legs, but due to what I feel is a design flaw, the center strap is very short causing it to be too tight and sit too low on her.

Answer:	We've got some side rails that I didn't want to drill into. So here's what I did. (This only works if you're somewhat handy or have a friend with some tools.)* Cut two boards the height of Gate. (I used 3/4 plywood and cut them around 5" wide.)* Drilled 1/4 inch holes through top and bottom of these boards.* Used threaded steel rod, (1/4 x 20 threads), and cut two pieces, (one for top and one for bottom), to hold the boards together on either side of the railing.* Used knurled knobs from a wood working store with 1/4" threaded centers to screw on one side of the board. (Kind of hard to explain without pics, but basically countersunk bolts on the gate side, with the knobs on the side where the stairwell is.)* Then just installed the gate to this board.* I think they sell kits to be able to do this. But for maybe $5 in parts and some scrap wood you can do it yourself. All you really need is a circular saw, and something to cut the steel rod with. (And file the edges so you can thread the knobs on.)* I've tried to attach a picture to my earlier review with what I did. Assuming it gets approved, if you look for my review or maybe do a search for 'Railing Attachment Board" you'll find the pics.

(Yes, we failed to lock it once and almost had a problem.) Zero issues when locked though.

Also if opened just past 90 degrees, they will stay open till given a gentil push then they self close. The product is very well engineered, well built and nicely finished. As a mechanical engineer I can see no wat to improve this product. I would recommend this gate all.

Question:	Will this fit in a standard rectangular kitchen sink
Answer:	I emailed customer service and they quickly sent 2 proper (non-identical!) clips in the mail. Sounds like a bad batch went out!

Answer:	Fill the tub up with water, push the little faucet knobs up and down. The sprayer will work, the water just stays in the tub.
