Sit your child down and measure the length of the legs etc. in the sitting position. If more than approximately 20" the child is probably too long for this tub.

Answer:	What I know about topical or ingestable products is that the manufacturing and expiration dates depend on when you purchase them, production volume and demand. I've never found these two dates listed on any perishable item from Amazon listed in the product info. If you buy this product, check these dates immediately on the end of the tube. If the expiration date seems unreasonable, or too short a period of time to use it, I'd return it and give that as a reason. It doesn't appear to be possible for vendors or Amazon to track these two dates as the shipments are ongoing and production volume changes. It's a good question, though. I've had to return some topical/ingestible products for unreasonable expiration dates. I haven't had that problem with this product.

Answer:	In my opinion not until they can sit independently because if they are still needing to lay down it doesn't support them well at all and they slide around and if they end up in top of the support bump it's very awkward and uncomfortable for them
