The suction cups on the mat normally can stick to the tub well within 4~5 hours and after a shower, there will be some hair and shampoo under the mat, which may cause mildew and influence the suction. I clean my weekly, who wouldn’t? It’s machine washable and let it dry.

Question:	Our shower has 4x4 tiles with almost no texture on the floor. Would this mat really be non-slip on these tiles? Can several be used to cover floor
Answer:	My shower tile is about the same, but small. I think that is one reason it feels so secure. I don't have enough room to catch my foot under the mat and accidentally move it. I did try to slide it, but found it to be stable as long as I wasn't lifting it on the edge. I would think that using many of them might increase the chance of "lifting" the edge and then possibly sliding. Personally, I find this to be as stable as mats with suction cups.

I have had no problems with the mat - specifically, no mold odor or discoloration. It’s not visually attractive but it has good grip without suction cups and is pleasant underfoot. I bought it after finding out that suction cup mats are bad on resurfaced tubs. Recommended.

Answer:	Hi! I didn't have a chemical odor with this mat. That being said, why don't you try soaking it in a tub that has a few inches of warm water that has had baking soda mixed in it. That should remove the smell.

Answer:	I have the clear one. Mine is not slippery even when there is a lot of soap on it. It had small drainage holes that let the soapy water run out. Very satisfied with it. Will have a funny smell when new and dry but it goes away after about 1 week of daily use.

Answer:	No! My tub have a built in slip guard so not smooth on the bottom. This mat doesn't stick to it. I have to angle the mat so the ends stick to the sides.
