We usually place our babe in the swing, turn on the vibe and then use our foot on the wire footing to manually 'bounce' her...it is honestly her favorite way to get to sleep. Answer:	We had a swing where the motor had a problem. It has some timer component so it knows when to change directions, ours was defective.

Question:	Has anybody else had trouble with the step after putting the cover on the seat? When you’re suppost to snap the bars in place? Only one side snaps in
Answer:	The cover makes the seat a bit snug for the bars. I think I know what you are talking about. I didn't understand that the bouncer bars actually slide into the slot and the screw you insert holds them in place. I had to back track a few steps because the picture didn't do the best job explaining the bars go IN BETWEEN the two plastic pieces. I hope that makes sense.
Question:	Is there a way to stop the motor from making such a noise when it swings
Answer:	I couldn't figure out how to get the noise to be any quieter. I returned the swing due to the noise and the swing not being a boucer. It says it's a bounce but you take it off of the swing arm thing and you have to use your foot or arm to bounce it. I think this swing is a waste of money and I ended up buying the mamaroo
