Question:	Does the reading stay lit when removed from the valve or does it immediately shut off
Answer:	The filter is based on how many grains of solids it can filter. You have to find out how hard your water is and how much water you will use through it. This will kind of give you a rough estimate of how long the filter will last. This filter is rated at 750 grains, so do the math. With my Alex Duette 2 espresso machine making 5-6 drinks per day, I can go a year before changing the filter. But I change the filter every 6 months just because.
Question:	What kind of battery does this use and is it easily replaceable
Answer:	Remember this is a water softening filter not a particulate removal filter. Normally you put clean hard water through it and out comes softened water. You don't recirculate water through it. It is a one pass type filter. If you are softening with it and the water is coming out hard, you need to regenerate the ion exchange media by submerging in a small tub of brine water and then flush out the brine and it is ready to go.
Question:	How long do batteries last and is it easy to replace them
Answer:	I change the filter every 6 months, of course it depends on your water usage. Check on the packaging to see how many gallons the filter is good for and keep track of your water meter for a month or two to give you an idea.

Answer:	You should be able to because it's the air release button that prevents the tire from deflating. As long as you don't press it the gauge will just display the pressure.

Useful note:

In order to get a good seal, please put the tire's air nozzle up or off to the side. It's the best when the nozzle is around 6 or 7 o'clock position so that you can firmly press the guage straight down which means you have to crane your head a little bit for reading. Always remember the most important thing for you is to be able to press down straight & hard onto the tire's nozzle.

Question:	What is the battery model/number for this gauge
Answer:	After receiving my two-pack, I opened one to check the batteries because the instructions that came with the gauges failed to identify the batteries and I didn't find the previous answers to this question until after I had checked my gauge. AstroAI indicated that the gauge uses 3 @ AG13 (Silver Oxide) batteries and 1 @ CR2032 (Lithium) battery. I found 3 @ LR44 (Alkaline) batteries and 1 @ CR2032 (Lithium) battery. It's useful to note that the LR44 alkaline battery is cheaper and has a shorter life than the AG33 silver battery. I also don't trust small alkaline batteries in devices such as this where they can leak. When my batteries need to be replaced, I will use the AG13s. Looking at the wiring in the gauge, it is apparent that the single CR2032 powers the pressure transducer while the three LR44 or AG13 batteries power the light.

Question:	Can you remove the clip on chuck and replace it with a dual head chuck
Answer:	Sir I think your asking if you can replace the tire valve chuck. I suppose one can if you unscrew the tire chuck from the fitting and your "dual head" device has matching screw in connection. If not I suppose you could remove the brass clamp on the hose and replace the entire chuck piece as long as your dual device has the appropriate sized nipple and you can crimp clamp it onto the hose.
Question:	Is this a cheap knock off of the jaco flowpro tire inflator gauge? even the product description was copied
Answer:	There’s a JACO shown below this one. In neither case do you have a “Tire Inflator.” It’s a gauge. If you plug this thing into your tire thinking you’re going to inflate it, then you better hope you have a AAA membership, because an hour later you’re going to still have a flat tire. Very misleading product name. Amazon should have made it clear that an air compressor is required.
Question:	does it read pressure while inflating, or do you have to let go of the trigger to read the pressure
Answer:	That's the disadvantage of the digital readout; it isn't continuous reading like my analog dial tire inflator. With the analog one, it's much quicker because the reading returns immediately after releasing the trigger or the bleed valve, so the pressure can be set without the lag time needed for the digital gauge to acquire the reading.
Question:	Do you need an air compressor or does it connect to the gas station pumps
Answer:	This is setup to connect to a 1/4" quick (dis)connect fitting. The QD fittings are what are almost always on the working end of air hoses which have a general purpose. In other words a shop, garage, etc. where different air tools may often be switched out on the hose end. Gas station air hoses really have just one intended purpose; to fill tires with air. Therefore they almost always have a Schrader type inflation tip. So out of the box, no this will not work at a gas station. By adding a bit extra to this, you can use it at gas stations. All you would need to do, is instead of threading in the supplied 1/4" QD male, put in what is called a tank valve. It will have the threading to attach to the inlet port of this tool, and have a Shrader valve (just like tires have) on it's other end. Answer:	Unless it's made in the city Usa, China, no. LOL. Made in China. But the description is inaccurate. States from 0 psi to 150 psi if I remember correctly. However, it will not read below 3 psi. I needed a low pressure gauge and this didn't do the job. Too much of a hassle to return so I just kept it.

Question:	Does it read low air pressure from 0-15 lbs
Answer:	It does read at those PSI ranges. According to there description it does read through the full scale with the same accuracy. I set the air PSI in my tractor tires at 18/20 PSI and it did seem to work well at that range. I bought a (non digital) 0 to 15 PSI gauge for my ATV’s. I did compare it and it was within 1 PSI. I read 4 PSI on my 0 to 15 range gauge and I read 3.4 on my digital Jaco gauge so it was actually very close.
Question:	Difference from 100 psi and 200 psi
Answer:	...simply the pressure range of the gauge. I've no idea of an application (tire) that requires pressures nearing 200 psi but.... That said, if the tires you're intending to use the gauges on don't EXCEED 100 psi -that is the gauge that should be purchased. As a rule of thumb -most good pressure gauges (any/all) are most accurate in the middle-to upper 2/3rds of their stated ranges.

Answer:	Yes, it is the best air chuck that I have ever used. It seals well and best of all, because it is narrow and long, it seals the first time every time. I have one caveat however. The downside of its length was that it was too long to make a seal on my motorcycle tires, which have a shorter valve stem. Bicycle tires may have the same issue.

Answer:	Checked it against my vehicle indicates and it was spot on. Maybe even more accurate because the vehicle only gave the pound and not inbetween , such as .1-.9 indications.

Answer:	No, the tire gauge cannot directly work with Presta Valves. You may need an adapter for it.

Answer:	Depends on the size of the pouch, the device is approximately 5+/- inches long.
Question:	How long does the reading stay visible after you remove from tire?? = readability time
Answer:	I would say about 3-4 seconds. It will turn off entirely between trying to read each tire. Think that is trying to save the battery life. You don’t have to worry about leaving it on by mistake. Good feature!

Place the nozzle of the gauge over the tire valve. Press firmly to ensure good seal and prevent air from escaping. Hold gauge on the valve until the reading on the LCD display locks. Remove the gauge quickly from the valve and read pressure.
