Answer:	I have mine mounted right behind the rear window on a Polaris RZR to keep it kind of dry and to not get damaged. Just not sure how it would work out on a bike. I think it would get damaged to easy.

There are already holes in the bar. You would just need a bigger washer because the holes in the bar of the truck are bigger than the screws are.
