Great for camping trips 'cause it keeps cool on our travels. But when we want to pre-cool the cooler - or use it in a hotel room, for example, we use the power converter by plugging into the regular wall socket and having it convert the 120v electricity to 12v.

Answer:	Other people are saying yes you can run it with the car off but there’s more too it, the lower you discharge the battery the more it needs to be recharged. That process is what shortens the life of your car battery. If you want to keep your car battery as long as possible I recomend only iseing the inverter while the engine is running

Answer:	Your headphones are (probably) picking up the electomagnetism put off by the inverter. Move away from the inverter and see if it goes away. If not, then insulate your headphone wire. If that doesn't work, then try it with someone else's (preferably new) laptop. Some cheap/old laptops are built with too few capacitors and you probably shouldn't use this inverter. (Alternatively, you could hardwire capacitance into your charging cord). It's also possible that the product is not actually putting out a proper waveform. It works fine on my laptop, so I haven't tested that yet.

Question:	I bought a 12v air pump for car/bike. but i want to use 110v to use it at home. can i buy this to use the 12v air pump
Answer:	My experience says No. I purchased this item to use on my 6 volt air compress which has a plug in end for my car. I thought I could use the air compressor for my kids pool toys but I had to convert it to plug in some how. I bought this item and it barely powers the Compressor and doesn't even put out any air at all. Just to confirm it was the plug we plugged into car first then this adapter plug. It doesn't have enough power to completely power my 6v Compressor at all. I went to home depot and purchased a Husky 120 volt inflator for 20.00 which has a plug end.
Question:	Anyone use it to power their laptop? My laptop came with a car charger so i was wondering for travel in case i needed an outlet
Answer:	I’ve tried to power a portable air pump and it DID NOT provide enough power, it would be a trickle charger for a laptop meaning that the power would discharge slower but it’s not enough to maintain or charge the laptop if in use.
Question:	Can i use this to plug 12 vdc charging adapter to charge mobile power 400 6 in 1 power supply
Answer:	I do not know what a "mobile power 400 6 in 1 power supply" is, but this AC to DC Converter could not handle a simple portable automobile tire inflator. The power was insufficient to inflate my tires, so I had to go back to plugging the inflator into the car's cigarette lighter socket. So expect the unit to deliver significantly less AC than DC voltage.

Question:	Unattended overnight with a splitter can I plug in 2 products 12v each totaling 5amps
Answer:	Phil, I never tried 2 items, totalling 5 amps. I have plugged in items like a Directv Satellite dome, and had them run for weeks at a time without issue. I do not know amp load from Satellite dome. Since it is rated to produce 5 amps, I would assume it would be fine, but I am a pharmacist, not an electrical engineer.

Question:	It says 10 amps, but then can only handle 120 watts output? 10 amps is a lot more than 120 watts, the device I'm plugging in requires 7.5 amps
Answer:	No, 10A is not "a lot more" than 120W: Power = Voltage * Current = 12V * 10A = 120W This is perfectly consistent with the product specifications. And your 7.5A product should work find on this 10A supply.
