Answer:	You can use 12 or 24 vdc. But make sure you install a ground wire from the steel mounting flange on the inverter, to the frame of your vehicle. I ran # 6 awg battery cable to an in-line 30 amp fuse. Make sure you use copper wire and copper crimp connectors.

Answer:	Never run the inverter with any loads higher than 150W via the cigarette lighter outlet in your vehicles since the maximum allowed current through cigarette lighter outlet is 15A;please use the battery clamp cable with connection directly to the 12V battery while you run any loads higher 150W but lower than 500W

Answer:	No. 115V x 9.2A = 1058 Watts. You would need around a 1200W inverter to run your printer.
