Answer:	The red piece is both a plug and socket. Each come with the 2 barrel crimp/solder pins. Also comes with a protective cap. If you don't have the proper crimp tool. You can solder them to the wire in an emergency....But I don't recommend it.....It's best to at least buy a cheap hammer punch crimp(Harbor freight, Amazon,Etc)....Like $12-15.... I have a hydraulic crimp tool as well as a large hand tool...but I crimp alot....those will set you back a couple hundred bucks.

Answer:	yes,it will automatically shut off when the battery is fully charged. the current will be close to zero. but if you want to use it on a lithium battery, you MUST disconnect after the battery is fully charged.
Question:	Can this charge 4 48V batteries in parallel
Answer:	Yes, although I have never seen a 48 volt battery. Typically, you get 48 volts from connecting 6 or 12 volt batteries in series. If your output voltage is 48 volts, the number of batteries in parallel doesn't matter. It will just take longer to charge the more you add.
Question:	Why is this not recommended for batteries above 200 aH
Answer:	That is a good question. Maybe they consider the charging current, and figure it would take too long to charge a battery over 200 Ah. I don't really know. I have never taken that "specification" into account, and have charged my 300 Ah solar backup batteries with no problems. I specifically chose this unit over the 20 Amp version to get the higher charging current capability.

Answer:	Mine have the same reflective pattern for all of the leds. Both of the modules are identical to one another. They produce a relatively focused light pattern and I purchased them to replace my motorcycle headlights. I use these lights without suppliment and the light pattern on the road is more visible than an H4 halogen bulb. I have not been flashed so I'm assuming the light pattern is not offensive. Mine are not combo lights.

Troubleshooting Tips:

1.Q: Meter scans from full to empty then shuts off:

A: This occurs if your "C" terminal is not connected to the battery "+" or a key switch.

Please connect + to +, - to -, and meter C to battery +.



2.Q: Meter cannot move to full charge:

A: This happens when the battery was fully charged but the battery voltage cannot reach to preset fully charged voltage of meter,

just disconnect the meter from power and reconnect, meter will reset to full.



3.Q: My current meter uses only +/- connect. will meter work without "C" connect? Can I just jumper the + terminal the "C" (meter would always be on) ?

A: The meter will not function properly without the "C" terminal connected. The "C" terminal controls the display on the meter.

You can certainly jump the "C" terminal to the Meter "+" terminal for an always on state.

Or just run a wire from "C" to the key switch so the meter will only be on when the cart is switch on.

Answer:	Because Trojan batteries have special voltage scale. Take 36 volt batteries an example, the empty voltage of common lead-acid batteries is around 31.1 volt, but the trojan batteries is around 34.5 volt. so meter cannot indicate the battery level correctly.

Answer:	This device is only appropriate for 36V batteries, i.e. 3 12V batteries wired in series, used for things like E-bike and motorized wheelchairs that need the torque. Cars, such as the S2000 typically use 12V batteries. I use Battery Tender brand on my motorbikes and cars. Cheaper, work just as well. Higher Amperage means faster charging.

How to Use

1. Check your battery parameters is compatible to the charger (at the back of the charger).

2. Connect the red clamp to the positive pole(+), black clamp to the negative pole.

3. The LCD display will show battery voltage, charge current and inside temperature (Temperature is for reference only, allowed tolerance).

4. Wrong battery connection： “EI-I-” will displayed on screen , the indicating lamp will flash.

5. Connect the charger with AC power source, the charger will start to operate (the Charge-lamp will start to flash in red).

6. Once the battery is fully charged, the battery bar on screen will in “FUL” status, meanwhile, the charge indicating lamp will keeps on. Keep the charged status in 1-2 hours is highly recommended.

7. Charging completed, remove the charger.

Remark: for 4Ah-15Ah battery, we suggest use “Repair” mode, because the battery size is too small, use pulse charge is very good for small size battery.

Answer:	The factory Delco radio in my black 5spd 94 S10 kills my battery if I do not drive it at least once every 48 hours. Deltran chargers work great for all the equipment we use at work (24v of course) and Deltran works great to keep my Delco radio from killing my S10. A fellow employee of mine has a 2008 Silverado and has suffered from dead batteries for years if he did not drive in at least once every few days - seems that GM cannot produce a radio that does not kill a battery. He installed a Deltran charger last month and has not yet had a dead battery despite the radio sucking 950mah.
Question:	is it easy to install or do i need mechanic? i am elderly
Answer:	All you do is connect the end that has the clips for battery red positive black negative shows on top of battery as such. There is a plug coming from unit that will pug into those two items once all that is plugged in then plug unit into 110 wall socket and it will charge from there read instructions as to how to tell when batter is fully charged. This unit is not installed it is to be used when needed and can be left hooked to your battery when car is at home with out hurting battery. Once charged then un plug from battery and un plug from wall outlet till needed next time. Hope that helps some but be sure to read instructions as how to tell what the lights on unit is telling you.
