Answer:	they have heat shrink around the terminals, so if you were to cut that off they should unplug, however the heat shrink is on them to help hold the connections in place.

Before you buy this unit, make sure to check the amount of clearance behind the wall you want mount this unit. As I remember, the controller depth is about 3" to 3 1/2", and the wiring terminals are straight back, so allow another couple of inches for the connectors and wiring. This was a big problem for me. I had to build up the outside of the wall to mount the controller due to insufficient clearance behind the wall.

Answer:	I don't think you will have any problems. Lift capacity is 3000 pounds plus. Most trailers have tongue weights of less than half of that. So there should be plenty of capacity left over to lift the truck a bit on it's suspension. Unless of course you have a monster truck and trailer situation

Answer:	The footplate is adjustable from a minimum of 14.5" to a maximum of 20" from the mounting flange. I removed the foot plate and use a fiberglass cone. Without the footplate the shaft will retract to 12" below the mounting flange.

Answer:	I lifted a Volkswagen with it. In order to lift an large SUV , you probably need a platform for it to get the right height. I have a F150 & haven't tried to lift it yet

Answer:	Used once this week, seems like a good quality build, not for constant use (like a garage repair tool) but smoothly operated and lug nut wrench works well about 90 to 100 foot pounds of torque. Bought for my wife she loves it no wrestling with a clunky jack or spinner thingy. Lol
