How it Works
Begin by parking your vehicle exactly where you want it. You may want to have a friend assist you. Next, place the Accu-Park in front of the driver’s side front tire. Mark the spot where you placed the Accu-Park with a pencil, remove the Accu-Park and move your vehicle away from the spot. Make sure the spot you want to install the Accu-Park is clean and free from debris to ensure a strong seal. Take care not to remove the pencil marks. Remove the paper from the adhesive strips on the bottom of the Accu-Park and place it firmly where you marked. Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before bumping your car against it. Pull your vehicle back into the spot and stop when you feel the tire bump against the Accu-Park.

| Answer: | It depends upon your use. These are so inexpensive, if you want double protection as a back-up barrier, then buying two isn't an issue. I personally didn't buy these as a stop behind the wheels. Rather, I bought 5, and have used them to divide a double car garage. We share part of this double garage with transient renters in our building (we have vacation rentals within our four flat building). It has made a big difference in serving as a guide to keeping people in their portion of the garage, not impinging upon our section, and making it easy to get in and out. |

This was because the area where I put it, the concrete was uneven so the entire thing wasn't adhered. Anyway, that one stayed put for over a year before it came off and it did not remove any of my sealant. |

| Answer: | I really hate that people won’t answer the question. They didn’t ask “should you mount them?” It was just how. I used 3/8” x 6” Simpson strong-tie concrete lag bolts from Home Depot. They were about $3 each. Each rubber bumper has 4 holes. I would recommend a 1/2” washer to distribute the load a bit. The hole in the bumper will accept a 1/2” bolt but they are significantly more expensive. The bolt only needs to be 3” to reach the concrete, but the manufacturer recommends more than 2” embedment, so 5” long bolt minimum. Be careful not to over tighten the bolt - it is fairly easy to “squish” the rubber down and deform the shape of the bumper. |

They were about $3 each. Each rubber bumper has 4 holes. I would recommend a 1/2” washer to distribute the load a bit. The hole in the bumper will accept a 1/2” bolt but they are significantly more expensive. The bolt only needs to be 3” to reach the concrete, but the manufacturer recommends more than 2” embedment, so 5” long bolt minimum. Be careful not to over tighten the bolt - it is fairly easy to “squish” the rubber down and deform the shape of the bumper. |

The STKR Parking Sensor utilizes ultra-sonic pulses to determine the exact distance between the vehicle and the sensor. Easy to Mount, Easy to Set
To calibrate the unit, first simply mount it with the supplied Velcro and double-sided tape. Then, park the vehicle in the desired stop zone and press the RED 'set distance' button. The STKR sensor allows the user to select the exact location they would like to park their vehicle, anywhere from 6 in to 6 ft.
Walkway Light
When exiting a vehicle there is often a dark spot between the vehicle and the wall where the driver or passenger has to pass through. The STKR Parking Sensor illuminates that spot, creating a safe and well lit walkway. The light will illuminate in conjunction with the red light on the sensor, and is on a timer to turn off after 45 seconds.

Approach
As the driver approaches the STKR Garage Parking Sensor, they will see a green light indicating that it is safe to proceed.
Slow Down
As the car nears the sensor, a yellow light will illuminate as a warning to slow down.
Stop

For me, one mounted on the end wall and one on the adjacent wall, adjusted to yellow, would warn me of, respectively, how far to pull in, and second whether I would hit anything to my right or left (stay in the yellow). There’re costs involved, and your garage may not lend itself to this crude attempt at trianglelation; but, it may work. I’m going to give a try. |

I ended up drilling holes and bolting it down after a few years of reapplying double stick carpet tape. |
